kinda is with the HOF. I mean this will impact a lot of things, perhaps not the MVPstuff, but it will impact comparing stats from the HOF standpoint, unless you will allow dots to play longer at the top.

Well I'm assuming by end of season they'll be 64ish right? That would be 64000 XP which would equate to approximately 227 days old in new system so they'd be converted to that age.

Training/Bonus Tokens:

Training gains will be multiplied by 1.6. This is based off of the following:

392 days to plateau in new system = 784 training points
Current system a player will receive 1260 training points by the time they reach plateau.

1260/784 = 1.607

To account for this, we also need to adjust bonus token gains by 1.6. In order to prevent decimal conversion of bonus tokens we will have all bonus token training gains multiply by 16 (light training would thus equal 48 bonus tokens instead of 3) and all existing bonus token costs and values (i.e. AEQ upgrades, player balances) to be multiplied by 10.

This could seriously hurt multi-training (which might be a good thing because of how powerful it is) If at lower levels you are gaining levels at such an increased rate and still waiting 4 days for enough training points to quad train.

Agreed - I like the idea of the new APD. Thing I will need to look over is the BT conversion, EQ...seems a litle much to get around right now.

I was just trying to get clarification as you could utilize the current model as an off-shoot for the underground leagues.

If we're now counting offseason days as season days, 120 days of extended plateau would only equate into 2 additional seasons not 3??

each season now = 56 days passed

20 boosts = 120 days (3 seasons)
-6 days for each boost <20
0 boosts = 0 days

That was used for basis of determining actual length of player career in terms of real time. Season is still going to be 40 days.

Might want to change that post to mirror current dot ages so we're not so confused.

Yea if we were to extend it, max it'd be extended is one additional season.

If this a possibility and it goes live for S24. It would be very nice to get confirmation on this so we can hold off on retiring players about to exit plateau.

Not quite sure what you are asking here? Current players have an XP earned value. New system comparison is based on approximate XP they would have at X age based upon a normal player progression (including boosting). Then take old system XP and see where it would slot in new system, get age for that slot and convert.

That's a conversion, I'm talking about player growth....

Today, no one boosts early until level 25 due to loss of XP. Is that still going to be the case, or is XP earned in new system based on the season the player is in....

Would make it so much easier to not have to worry about XP....In season 1, 12 levels or 12000 XP, divided by 40 days is 300 XP per day, period. Same for season 2 (10 levels or 10000 XP, divided by 40 days is 250 XP per day, until the XP is limited by level/season.

Currently, daily XP is based on level, starting at 100 and going down to 25/day at level ~25. So after level 25, you can boost early and lose only minimal XP...after 4th season, all boosts can be done early with no penalty.

By the table in the second post, the levels go like this:
12, 10, 8, 7, 5, 5, 3.....

So the question is, when does boosting early have no affect on end player level?

They won't change levels. Just age.

They will be converted appropriately. We're not out to screw existing players over or to make new players any more capable/less capable then existing players. We put a lot of effort into making sure conversion would keep things relatively balanced between old and new.

like if i had a plan to build my dots and i needed up until the last day for training and what not to max out 4 AEQ, this should effect that, if i was going to get a specific # of BTs before, i should still be able to get to that number, or whatever number to get 4 AEQ
