I would get AGI to 77 and then STA to 50+(by lvl 65ish)

and get Change Direction up to at least 6-7(even thou it is penalized), that will help make up for some lack of AGI

This.
Make sure you get SV to 7-8, MH AEQ and get the SA to 9+.
I am also in support of getting big hit as high as well, I used to be against MH and BH, but on my oldest (and most poorly built HH SS) they've been forcing quite a few fumbles.

You'll be fine with only taking AGI to 74 if you need the SP's for something else, especially if you get a few points in CD.

Also you should drop helmet crash and use Power Tackler until you actually put some points into MH and BH.

Strength to 81, Agility to 73, Super vision to 8.
Then work on stamina to at least 55

Your tackling rating is almost at 82 and you have a bunch of VA bonuses helping out and you still have quite a few missed tackles. How big of a factor is strength in making tackles? My guy granted is at a lower level but he is running out 85 strength(With EQ its at 78 without aiming for 80 or 81 I guess) Tackling currently at 27 and yet despite running on power tackling I have made 25 of my 26 tackle attempts. Does this have to do with my high strength allowing me to make power tackles or is it the fact that these low level players don't break tackles very well yet?

Switch back to Balanced tackling, get rid of rip the ball VA when you can, agi to next cap, stamina to like 60 then work on SA's

It's more to do with low level players not being rounded out.
In actually making the tackle, tackling is more important than strength.

The tackle/break tackle roll is relative.

If you're trying to tackle a FB with 81 speed, 8 strength, and 12 carrying, you roll against his 8 strength and 12 carrying. Almost anything will beat that 99 times out of 100. Knowing your own attribute levels isn't enough, you need to be comparing them against what your dot is tackling to get a picture of how effective of a tackler your dot is.

Strength is more important when you tackle head on, tackling when it's to the side of your dot.
