I know its needed but is it a majjor skill like tackling and speed? I can imagine it being really important, shedding FB's, Olinemen, etc.

Yea, from doing some research and whatnot, I've found out that STR doesn't really effect FFs as much as I thought it did. It's more of a stat to shed blockers. Having that STR to work off of blocks and make the tackle. I wouldn't say it's a MAJOR stat. But you need to put some points into it a good bit. I'd say it should easily be one of your Top 5 stats.

Strength is needed to shed blocks in conjunction with your Agility> Agility is a high level stat needed for changing direction quickly with RBs. Speed is more crucial for ROLB, because at the moment they are often on the opposite side of the field as most of the run plays. And overall Vision is key for overall play ability.

So i would label it,

Agi, Vision, Speed, Strength, and Tackling (i always say wrap up tackling is good enough)

for a ROLB, bump speed to the top.

PERFECT!!! Couldn't have said it any better myself broskie. I'd actually say VIS and AGI are interchangeable.

Strength and tackling will probably play a larger role next year with the upcoming nerf to wrap up, and the buff to power tackling.

Yes strength and agility are very important, and I just found that. I just watched a game my LB was playing in, and every time the HB ran my way, the TE blocked me. Every time he stuffed me and I only got 4 tackles and 1 PD the whole game while I could have made a lot more plays if I wasn't getting blocked the whole time. Btw he's a LOLB.

Next time I boost, 7 points are going into strength, 7 into agility, and one into speed or vision.

STR like TCK are "do it when you need it" attributes. My LB doesn't have a problem with blockers or with missed tackles, so his STR and TCK are far lower than recommended. When he starts to have problems, I'll boost those skills. Until then, I work on making him, faster, quicker, smarter and more confident!

That's what I did but today we went against a team that had a beastly blocking TE and I couldn't get pass him at all.
