You also read way too much into that original announcement. You inferred that it would be any piece. All you had to do was send me a pm, send Support a message, or post a question in the Q & A thread we had shortly after that announcement and it would have been clarified for you. I should have made the announcement more clear and I apologize for any confusion I caused you (I've added a edit to clarify it now) but we've never allowed users to take advantage of changes after the change has been announced. Allowing users to stockpile purchased AEQ after the announcement would essentially equate to risk free shopping as users could just shop, keep a +% piece each roll and refund it, and shop until they found the piece they liked.
I'm also not sure how you are screwed by this. You can still exchange it for another +% piece or +SA piece.
Read too much and should ask support? WILL ANY FULL are three not very confusing words. Hard to read too much into that. ANY percent piece gets a FULL refund is what it says as plain as day. If I were to email support about every clearly stated sentence in the game it would get a little busy in GLB land would it not? I also think I saw you comment on the issue at one point. Can't find that now.
As far as screwed, things being what they were it was sensible to spend a little more to get the right piece in place for this season, the thought being that in 50 days that all gets a do over. More over, right now percent pieces are very useful, next season not so much. So this season maybe I spent more to get a high % piece but next season I would only want a 15 BT SA instead. I have a hundred players alot of whom were adding gear, I am not positive in all instances how much or if at all I got screwed here, but its a possibility in many and I know for sure at least one guy I said what the heck may as well shop its basically free. Some may think that guy was gaming the system but the fact is he was merely following the game parameters that had been laid out.
