Cracker Town Juniors - Been there , done that. Crackertown returns to pee wee gold after a 2 season layoff. CTJ brings the same crew of staff. Cracker town comes from Silver 3 where it spent the last two seasons. Crackertown got demoted for going 4-12 in season 20. Crackertown won Golds gold in season 16 beating Cascade 34-14. CTJ beat 14th street bucs 41-28 as they held a huge level advantage 14s over 11 and 13s. Still had an impressive 20-0 run through league play. Only competition outside their league came in a tourney loss to Short Bus 49-7.

Projection - Quite a few good teams in the West this season. Could be fighting for a playoff spot being out of the loop for a few seasons. Expect a 9-7 finish fighting for a playoff spot

Pee Wee Clowns II - Headed by Moentrol, Winning silver 4 league. First appearence for the Clowns II. Had a very nice 20-0 league run but let's face it, who are all these teams they beat? No big name teams on the list as far as I can tell. They did have a nice championship win over another up and coming owner winning the championship 23-3. Clowns had a great defense for league play. Outside of league play the team struggled vs better competition. A 49 point loss to PWU and a 70 point loss to TIA. They did win a couple of tournament games and quite a few private games including beating Providence in the West 13-7.

Projection- Team will struggle to find wins in Gold. Teams play much better offense in Gold than silver competition and this could be a dangerous unknown teams as the woner has done a lot of learning from PWU this past season. Could finish 9-7 but in their first season I don't think they can keep up with the grind all season. Expect a 7-9 finish.

Middleville Thunderbolts- Headed by ShowTyme, ClimberPete and bryceps, the team rolled to a 20-0 League play in Silver 8. Having a huge boost advantage for the Championship game, they still allowed an unboosted team 35 points, however their offense did score 112. This leaves the team very questionable. I'm not sure who ran No Limit so not sure how great or bad the win was. Outside of league play, they were rocked in the official tourney game 80-6 by TIA. Played better later in the season against the same team in a private game 42-21 but still lost. Beat Lunch Box in a private game but who didnt beat Lunch Box

Projection - Very unknown. Can play some great ball but can they do it conscistantly? I don't see MT playing very good defense as they are not there yet. Will face a lot of tough offensive attacks. I see them struggling this season to a 5-11 finish. If they right their defense and get an edge boost wise they could finish better IMO.

Hellsinki Headbangers - Funded and pusuaded by Darkus Black, the team is owned by Pena Fin and co owned by 7Steeladonis. Team routed the NO VooDoo Saints in the championship game 38-3. Ended with a 19-1 season. Won 3 tourney games before losing a close game to The Warriors. Lost badly to PWU 52-7.

Projection - Hard to guage them at this point. I think they will struggle against a lot of teams in the West. Predict them to finish 4-12 with a few close losses that could of been wins.

Horseshoes Of Steel - New blood in gold with PhunkTalkin, NappyXL and Newcastle Brown. Team won a silver Championship in Silver 6 surviving a late scare by PWU winning 48-38. They did have level 14s vs level 13s in the Championship game so they know how to build and plan ahead. They also spent all season on PWU learning the ropes. Lost 2 games in the regular season but finished 18-2. Team struggles defensively at times playing some unconventional sets, but offensively relies on the QB rush.

Projection - Havent really played anyone outside of league play. Did bring down 3 good teams in the playoffs when it counted. QB rushes don't work with great results in Gold, most Gold teams will shut it down. Holes in the defense could spell trouble. Predict a 7-9 finish. They did go with passing Qbs but lack of Wr depth will cost them some games.

Gas House Thugs - Owned by redskins123, Co Owned by svtsilver1 and head coached by Osiris. Team went 20-0 and beat an unboosted Flumpin Bass in the Championship 70-10. Had a pretty boring season in silver 1 going 20-0 and no games outside of league play.

Projection - team has no roster as of yet. They havnt retired last seasons players either. Team won'ty be competitive at all IMP and building late will just delay the inevitable. Expect a 3-13 finish if thgey build soon and 0-16 if they don't. Whats sad is either way , one West team picks up a free win week 1 and improves their playoff chances right out the gate.

Vegas Wolf Pack - Owned by BoxwrencH, Co Owned by dsog, Head Coach: Cubes, OC: bigdawg58267, DarthVisor (Asst OC),DC: soupcan, marcello (Asst DC), Quadri Space (Asst DC)
A whole new cast to Pee Wee Gold. Team had a nice 20-0 run through league 7 beating the Ligerie Football Ladies 21-14 in the Championship game.

Projections - Unfortunately looks like these guys also have no interest in competition. No players made by any team members except for another Silver 7 team. Looks like they all created players for Silver 7 league and will let their gold team go CPUs. Another lucky West team gets a freebie week 1.

Kings Of Ag -Owned by Empire_Strikes_Back, Finally a team in the East that will give the league a run for their money. Team ran through Silver 5 going 20-0. Had some nice wins and plays solid defense and attacks yoru weakness on offense. Better get your defenive plays fixed because if you don't this team will run the same play 20X and attack it to a victory. In Gold though, most Dcs change every game and use multiple sets of defense. Doesn't bold well for Kings but still should make for some close games. had a nice win over PWU, Chicago 85 Bears, Flumpin Bass, Whistle Pigs and All Pro Cowboys. Did this without boosting. Lost to FGC twice and his own team in the Silver tourney.

Projection- with most teams boosting around week 9, Kings will have to get the wins early. I think they will win early and finish 9-7. Scheduling will be huge unless, Kings decide to boost then it won't matter. I believe the team will be playing for a playoff spot and could surprise a few teams along the way.

Good write ups LE. Hope the Clowns can pull some good wins out of our asses. Also hope to get the defense on track for GOLD. I know the basic defense and same AI throughout the season won't fly here.
Can't wait for some solid competition.

Good luck and thanks. Good luck to all the teams who made it, Best thing about a write up like that is no one expects to much your first season so you can really catch some teams by surprise!

Nice write-up LE!

I think Hellsinki will do a bit better than you mentioned. They played really well in that Championship game, considering they were facing two Gold coordinators, and they were out-leveled a bit. Their play was pretty solid, especially their defense.

Looking forward to all the new competition. Good luck to the new teams!

Great write-up, LE!

Always enjoy reading this stuff.

Going CPU in Gold is pretty lame.

I sure hope we'll do better. I'm just trying to avoid relegation. I do think LE has the right idea though. I'm not used to playing tough teams every week, and it might come down to winning or losing those close games.

Looks like I lost the conference lottery. Keeping my fingers crossed for a lucky week 1 draw (but with my luck I'll get Maine).

You'll play somebody from the opposite Conference in week 1.
