THESE RANKINGS MEAN JACK SHIT TO ME... we beat the flames like they were a pop warner team and they are ranked higher.. the team thats ranked fourth has no reason to be there.. and the other Raiders at 6th i wouldnt waste my second string on.. they are 3-3 barely holding top ten in their on conf. what makes you think they deserve to be at 6? give us more credit.. you guys listened to the smack talk between us and the Knights and took it way to seriously.. we are not hype.. and how is a team thats 6-0 ranked 10th in the power rankings and beat teams that are ranked higher than them??? this is bogus.. i think you ignorance is getting to me.. good day

haha, oh wow. You just lost all rights to post a power ranking. I would LOVE for you to tell me how you came up with these rankings. You know I will just wait for MudBugs to post one. This is SOO bad I actually think the knights would even agree with the GRIFFS on this one..

Wait you know what you did atleast get the top two right...lol

I took pass, receiving and rush yards, I took pass and rush yards allowed per game, and finally I took points allowed per game and ranked each team per stat. and calc the summary rank for each team

If you have a problem with the stats then you're missing the point, stats don't lie. It shows what you're team is capable of with the competition it has faced...

I am not even going to sweat it. Power rankings mean nothing, rank us last for all we care. We know were a top team and as far as I am concerned we have played like it, and will continue to.

Good luck on the season.

no problem, I didn't mean it as a slight to anyone just using the stats as a tool to see what the statistical rankings would be

I agree, the OTHER Raiders do not belong there. Not this season at least.

33 teams??

Clearly the Southmapton Stags have ugly cheerleaders thus ranking them behind the Irish Car Bombs and our smokin pink dots/cheerleaders

I understand what he is trying to do, but he needs to look at the strength os schedule as well. Thats how you tell the rankings. You can hve huge stats if you only play weaker teams.

Agreed that the Griffs should be higher. Their only loss came to Edinburgh - #2 overall - and they beat the #7 team rather easily.

If stats continue to be the measuring stick, then things may even out as the strength of schedule evens out. But with some teams focused on getting their starters max playing time, while others are trying to make sure and get their backups in, the stats can lie. You have to look at each game in it's context.

But all in all this is a nice effort with the power rankings. Thanks for the work, Mobius. It's appreciated, even as it's busily disected.
