Wellbrock says Uganda's defense is Ready
June 24, 2008

The Tuscaloosa Bulls have beat every team they have faced so far, but don't tell that to Headhunters' Strong Safety Matt Wellbrock.

"The Bulls are the big cats of the Lion Conference" Wellbrock told reporters Tuesday, "We want to show we can hang with the big cats in this league, that's why we are going in to Tuscaloosa and handle business"

Asked if he was guaranteeing a win over the Bulls, Wellbrock Smiled, "Definitely. I go out on that field thinking we are winning every game."

Wellbrock has a reason to feel optimistic. The Bulls rank #23 in passing offense, while the Headhunters rank #4 in passing defense. However the Headhunters are going to need Wellbrock in run support as the Bulls have the second best rushing game in the league with an average of 203.2 yards a game. The Bulls should have a huge advantage on a Headhunters defense that ranks #22 in the league in rush defense.

Asked how he felt about providing potential locker room material, Wellbrock played it off.

"They know we are comin' for them. They are at the top of the division, everybody is comin' for them. I know how good our team is though, and it's going to be a great game in Tuscaloosa, a lot of people are going to be suprised."

Wellbrock better hope his prediction is correct, or else he might be suprised himself; with a seat on the bench.

Headhunter's Safety Wellbrook Busted for DUI
June 24, 2008
Sahara Sun-Time

Coming on the heels of Matt Wellbrook's public "guarantee" of victory over the Tuscaloosa Bulls, the Headhunter's safety was pulled over for reckless driving in his Oldsmobile Cutlass. The police reports showed that Wellbrook's blood alcohol level was between .35 and .40 which indicates he had been drinking heavily all day and was likely shit-faced drunk during his earlier interview with Times reporter Sanka Coffee.

Wellbrook was also cited for possession of crack cocaine and marijuana. At the time of his arrest, police officers also discovered several disturbingly strange items in his trunk including a penis pump, leather chaps, and black stilleto heels.

When asked about his arrest one of Wellbrook's teammates had this to say
"WTF...he drives a Cutlass?!"

hahaha

Identity theft! Wellbrock doesn't get shithoused the night before the big game.

I have no excuse for the "strange" items in the car, it's almost the weekend, what can I say.

yeah I feel dumb by making some "news article" about predicting wins to have a little fun, and bring some life to the forum...at least I don't cry about it for a week after we lose to a team, unlike some people.

GG Tuscaloosa, you put Wellbrock's foot in his mouth.
