If you are new to this game, the no strings attached advice offered in this forum/support group is invaluable.
No allegiance to any team or other specific group in order to join this support group: we are a network that has no boundaries or lines that would ostricize you. We also dont have any crazy forms to fill out to prove you are 'someone' in this game. This forum is meant to help the beginning GLB gamer become acquainted with the game with such things as:
helping with builds;
figuring out how to find teams to get your dot recruited as we have a recruiting forum but recognize you dont have to use it;
have random threads about the game/life/NFL/NBA/or your mom and how she affects all of those;
and active patrolling to prevent/mitigate/eliminate trolling and trollers, but support the craptalking as there is a fine distinction between the two.
We provide a means for the veterans to have in depth discussions about the game sans the flaming and general thread derailing that occurs elsewhere. As of August 2011, this forum has continued to expand and currently has 1742 members. We are also very thankful to a dedicated group of agents who know their way around GLB (many invited from WL owning / coordinating and top player lists) and stop by to offer advice and tips. Many team owners, many GM's, many OC's, many DC's, and many BAMF's, but no TOOLs. We started out as a builds forum, but have become much more than that.
This forum was originally created May 20, 2009, by Virgin Goldstandard, with the aim of getting a like-minded set of people in one place to discuss builds and tactics in a relaxed and friendly manner: http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=2683850&page=1#22857814. An homage to the great Virgin Goldstandard, his forum has been revamped by myself and many others such as: Rage Kinard, abombuddy, bhall, dviss, mandyross, kcdizz, homage, fumanchuchu, aggie outlaw, mrmaomao, bigtisme, Longhornfan1024, jakobnielsen, sunshineduck, cwrujosh, Cruzi, 3kk0, L_R, thegreatpuma, and the list only goes on.

To give an indication as to the activity in this forum, in the past 24 hours (Aug 2011) there have been hundreds of posts in 25 different threads.
