http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1602287&playoffs=0He was running at 146.5 / 97.5
There may be a point at which DTs can get "over the top" of the O-line through sheer Strength/Agility numbers and start to dominate on that basis, but the best DTs I have seen aren't taking that approach.

Are there any great DTs any more?
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1604560 - he's at 249 and barely did anything
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1901751 - he should end up at 252 with significantly less speed. I think I'm going to try 3 BB% pieces and put most of his sp from here on out in wall and break through after I second cap tackling.
I think it's all about expectations. There are a few DTs that are pretty effective pass rushers, but none that are really dominant. There are definitely DTs that are extremely effective run-stuffers...they just aren't as flashy. A great DT is critical to a team's success, but they aren't going to be in the MVP race and aren't going to have a ton of flashy plays. That doesn't mean that they aren't contributing in
extremely important ways to the defense.
