The Orange comes licking their wounds as they've been stomped like a grape the last two weeks in a row giving up almost 900 yards on the ground.. admittedly it was to two of the top teams in Lion.. but still!! This week they get the Stoners and their featured back Sorrell McFadden who comes into this game 4th in Lion in rushing yards... 2nd in rushing TDs and has a gaudy 9.5ypc. I can see the Stoners lighting one up.. getting the munchies andd eating Burnt Oranges all day long!!
Spring Hill Pirates VS. Zambezi Silverbacks:
Spring Hill is one of our APL rookie teams looking to prove something... but this week they get some angry Silverbacks that have already decided this is a rivalry game even though I don't think they'd ever played each other LOL. Statistically they're pretty even but the last thing that you want is a pissed off Silverback chasing you.. Zambezi wins this one to establish their dominance in the new rivalry!
Nuremberg NightHawks VS. Kalahari Heat:

Atlantis Aquatic Apes VS. Oklahoma Outlaws:
Hey OSUMike... E and I were just messing with you about your teams chances this season.. I hope Atlantis has AAA cause the Outlaws are about to pull a smash and grab.. they're leaving with the W and the Nachos!!
San Diego AquaBats VS. Miami Pound Machine:
It's the battle of the Sunshine States (in APL
) ... Holy balanced offense Batman.. San Diego has 890 passing and 889 rushing yards.. I guess that will leave the Pound Machine guessing what's coming next.. while Miami relies heavily on their passing game (74 % of their offensive production is through the air).. I can see the AquaBats controlling the clock and the game.. The AquaBats fly out of The Bat Cave with the W
Mega City Monsters VS. Guyana Punch:
Both teams come in at 5-0 but only one of them will stay in contention for the top spot in Lion. If you look at their common opponents it starts to give you the feeling that this is really a Pretender VS. Contender game.. Did you know that Lion attacks are responsible for hundreds of deaths in Africa each year.. might as well add MMM's 54 player roster to that total.. TAP is going to kill them!! (oh and glad you landed in Lion this season)!
Texas Longhorns VS. Banff Blue Yaks:
Holy Shit King of Bling.. are we going to be able to talk about the Longhorns winning streak? This is a pretty even match up on paper.. but I'm going to give the Longhorns the edge just because they turn the ball over less. If the Yaks can hold on to the ball and control the clock they do have a chance though.. still Texas gets them by 10 and begins their first winning streak of the season!

Really Warriors did you even need to Nacho the Cyclones? No disrespect to Myrtle Beach but these teams are on two completely different levels!! The only spinning the Cyclones will be doing in The Big House is when they're looking for an exit..

Rwanda is off to a nice start being their first season in APL.. but things won't be so nice or comfortable today when A7 invades the Royal Palace!! The young NFL team has definitely proven that they can hold their own.. and next season will truly be scary.. The Breakers haven't looked nearly as strong this season as they have in the past.. ever since that 1st round loss in the playoffs to ABD I fear their confidence is gone.. I'll take the drive of the young NFL team .. but it's a nail biter!!
GAME OF THE WEEK:
Rocky Mountain Thunder VS. Gotta Have More Cowbell:
This is hands down the best game today.. RMT is coming off a big win over A7 so hopefully they aren't still hungover.. cause if they are the sound of that Cowbell will probably make them crazy!! When you get right at this one is RMTs #4 offense vs Cowbell's #1 defense.. then it's Cowbell's #2 offense vs. RMTs #3 defense.. see the problem here? Something has to give in a game of wills.. since Cowbell has been on cruise control and RMT got their slap in the face in week one..
