I believe confidence is can't be neglected. You should have it in the 20s. I use to think that if you were winning you did not need it but last season's playoffs taught me otherwise. We were 15-1 with home field advantage but folded like a cheap lawn chair after a bad start in the conference championships. Also jump can help in both run and pass D. We all know it helps get more PDs but it also helps your diving tackles which could save a TD.

Raider: No he doesn't really get beat at all, and no WRs make plays on him. I guess your right about the confidence thing, but my confidence is in the teens, and yours is low 20s, so maybe I should improve it to about there?

I would say you should keep it in the 20s to be safe.

I would just train it....like I said...where is the need?

@ this point...I think you need to be more worried on any weaknesses...
I had just leveled & added SuperVision because the last 2 games...
5280 overshot the play by a bit..granted, turned the carrier into the D
and the play was stopped...but I want the tackle in those situations.

I have only used Film up until the last week I came on these boards &
5280 was created early.
I guess I din't do too bad.

I'm currently training jumping to 25, then will work on catching to 30, then I'll probably train confidence for a bit after that, but, if as you say, it isn't THAT important, I'll focus on the other things first.

And yeah, I would say you haven't done too badly Raider

I might start using the game film as well as these boards to see where I'm going wrong and where I can improve.

I'm all over that jumping too, ASAP.
I want to see how he does this afternoon...
see if the Super & agility address what I saw.
If, so....from what i hear about jumping....HOW CAN I AVOID THAT?!
I will dump 5 in it next level & maybe 3 the next.

I wish I could get back 5-7 of that stamina though
after 60+ plays on hard, he's at 80+ in energy .

Yeah, I think Stamina got boosted a bit in the off-season, cos last season I was at the same stamina I am at now and was in low-70s after games on 50-60 plays of Normal. This season, with the same stamina lvls, he is around the 70/80 border for most games of 50-60 plays on Hard. Go figure

Also, I think my problem is that I don't have enough vision. I was looking through some of the plays from the game and he's not reacting fast enough to where the ball is going. The SS I play opposite has 58-ish vision and was reacting almost immediatly and getting to the ball ages before me, even though I am a good 10-15 points faster than him.

I liked the corrections I made, solid last game & the overunning the play stopped.
I'm still thinkin' I might hit that agility a lil' more next level.

What's your speed/agility like? If the difference is too high, your man's gonna have problems stopping and changing direction well.

I think I need to keep boosting the vision, cos he's not recognising plays that well, and not reacting well at the moment. Hopefully he'll be able to do better with more vision. Either that, or he'll have to get some glasses

60/40......I think the Super fixed that though, and he was under 40 before.

Plays this afternoon against the biggest test for our team all season.
Next week we play the other 9-0 team....so for these next 2 games
5280 will be tested.

I say we still gunna shut 'em out though

How's 5280 doing? I've got a game in 2 hours, so we'll see how Spike does in that, and I should level after the game, and the 5 are going straight into vision, so we'll see how that works out for the next game.

He had a Solid game....vs. the only other 10-0 squad in our league. We won 10-7
His reaction time was Quick & took good lines.

These were the only 2 tackles registered...but he was Hawkin'.....
with the exception of this play....I don't know why he sat down & even went to the line a little bit?! Corner bit on a PumpFake maybe?? Solid CB there, just a good play/route/throw.
The First TD scored against the O Nation D all Season.

How did your boy do?

Vision looked like it helped a lot, as he made his first INT of the season!

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=9119064

He had two other PDs, but didn't register a tackle, mainly because our defense is pretty solid (especially our DEs, who are beasts) and they were shutting the runners down before they got 1 or 2 yards. On a lot of the plays, Spike is the first guy from the secondary to the runner, but the runner has already been hit by a D-Lineman or LB, as our defense is just that good

Got a game in 3 hours against a WEAK team, so we'll see how he does there.
