I like the age based leagues for the most part, but now being in a league that's 266 to unlimited is messed up!! This range really needs to be adressed. First season teams thrown into this age bracket simply don't have a prayer against teams stocked with 400+ age old players, it's really a wasted season for the younger teams.
266-346 would make for a much more competetive and enjoyable league
for all involved. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the older teams don't get pleasure beating younger teams by 10+ TD's.
Take a look at this situation so future teams don't have to endure what the young teams in this age group are enduring now.

All example are younger team winning against older ones.

Good strong young teams have no problem facing crappy old teams. Good old teams don't play in Reg-pro.

You're right, it is the wrong forum, but just for our disagreement, your team is a whole season ahead of the team I'm on and we'll be in the same age group next season as we are now. I won't have a problem with the age difference then either!

I think we are waiting for the whole league assignments to shake themselves out. At which time most of the issues will be gone. The only thing I think needs addressed is teams demoting. That's where it gets bad matching teams with a mess of lvl 72 Dots against teams with level 60 Dots.

2. It doesn't belong in the reg pro. A new team to Reg-pro is 320 days old. But that what you get with having a team which is 40+ players age 284 and about 10 players making it too old for the semi-pro. The age based leagues doesn't work well for a team that cannot maintain the same age for all dots.

The transition from the age capped leagues to pro is not great, since now 360 days old teams hit the nat-pro leagues and are about a season too young. But not the end of the world.
It is better to single out the nat-pro worthy team from the rest a bit earlier then later. This allow teams that don't make the cut to adjust and still get to nat pro with some time before decline.
