Forgive me if this week isn't as detailed. I didn't have as much time to really look as deep into the matchups, as usual...

Week 2: 7-1
Week 3: 6-2
Week 4: 7-1
Week 5: 6-2
Week 6: 7-1 (Damn you, London)
Season: 33-7

So yadayadayada... Didn't get it last week. Was ripped from my hands in our version of the Reggie Bush Bowl. On with the games!

Game of the Week
Amsterdam Arctic Blast at Basin City Blues
This one is a thriller in the making. BCB took a page out of the curveball book to mix their game up last week, and the effectiveness was obvious. Amsterdam is coming off a great win over one of the better teams in this conference. I'd hate to be an Amsterdam DC right now; I know that much. On one hand, Professor TD is the league-leading WR... On the other, he was a nonfactor last game. What to do.... And how doe the BCB management build to combat Amsterdam's pure size advantage over their players? Chip away at it? Go big or go home? Tough calls.... Should be a great one. But in the end, I think Amsterdam overpowers their eway into another win, and BCB falls to 4-3, a terrible representation of their ability and talent.

Ithaca Space Munkees at Dublin Drunken Monkeys
Well, it's the battle of the Primates. Seems to an outside observer this could be pretty even. Well, when you factor in one side is 5-1, and the other side is 0-6? I think we've got a clear prediction here. Shouldn't be close. Ithaca still looking to score.

Oklahoma (U.S.A.) Outlaws at Crimson and Cream Sooner Machine
The Outlaws have a significant lvl advantage acros the board, and the CCSM is still fielding a house of CPU's on the starting lineup. This will be a chance for the Outlaws to get a good gauge of what they can accomplish as a unit. And they should be pleased with the result.

Wrexham Maelor Brionnfhionn at Grim Reapers
Reapers sffered a GotW loss last week in a hell of a game and look to bounce back from it against Wrexham. On Paper these two teams are very comparable, but Wrexham's close losses agaisnt Belfast and Dublin make it tough for me to go with them against the Reapers. THis could be a great game, though. And it definitely is an opportunity for Grim to prove me wrong in a different way. They definitely shouldn't underestimate the Wrexham D. They're a great squad.

Transylvania Bloodsuckers at London Brawling Tommies
Some people say 1 win cna spark a streak. Others say home field advantage can make all the difference. Not me. Bloodsuckers win this one big. The London offense showed them can work together, though. And that is a very big step for a struggling team. That's really all I have to say about it.

Vatra Dornei Wraiths at Warsaw Knuckleheads
Warsaw is just the better overall team here. They put up a close game against the B-Suckers, and they've knocked off a couple quality teams along the way. THeir offense--though proven to not be as dominating as initially thought--is definitely an every down threat. The Wraiths are building up a solid team, and will still be around to win some good games, but I don't think today is that day.

Kilkenny Cannibals at Belfast Mafia
Mafia continue to make their stake in the home playoff game race. And to be honest with you, I think they'll ultimately achieve that goal. It's hard to pick against a team like theirs. But this game could be close, too. The Cannibals have some weapons on the roster that could even the field out a lot more than most of us may realize. They're 1-5, but 4 of those 5 losses came to teams in the top half of talent in this conference. It's unfair to judge Kilkenny until their schedule has evened out a bit.

St. Louis Storm at South Yorkshire Stars
Sorry, jerry. Even a phonecall to the SoYo Management staff isn't going ot help you with this one. jerry applewhite and his surrounding cast are quite forimdable foes, but I don't think you guys will be able to do what better teams have failed to do. But you never know what can happen. Any given Sunday, right?

Perfection? We'll see.....

Yeah good luck Belfast. We've got a few more pieces to put in place, but after our chemistry increases our team should come around.

Yes they certainly are, but hopefully we won't be throwing quite that many Ints in this game. Our QB's just finished 36 hours of motivational training on the rack....

....so their arms are a bit l-o-n-g-e-r now.

Well, Bolts this time the BCB ran a lot. Got us focusing on the passing game and ran for 188 yards.

You guys are much much better than you were at the beginning of the year. Kudos on the improvements, and good luck in the second half. Solid game from you guys.
