The logic is that Bort says the SA's are working fine and he does not want to reveal the inner workings of the game as it would remove a big strategic element of the game.

As for the VA's, we primarily made changes to VA's based upon their usage, those that had very few people using them were given buffs in order to make them a more attractive option for users... and yes, the changes/values were tested. Anytime we make a change, it's tested. For things like that, it's tested by myself and/or Bort, not the testers.

I wish I could say there was, but unfortunately there is no way to make team income more useful other then through the promotions. Just too many ways to exploit it and we were spending too much time shutting down exploits and looking into claims of exploits.

Personally yes I do, but Bort doesn't feel the same way and ultimately what he feels is best for the game is what happens.

It's something we're evaluating. Probably won't add 6 new formations. More likely 2-3.

We've had some discussion on this. Will likely do something for next season. Will be a requirement of at least 1 play played in a game though in order to get max XP.

Combo can use both VA's. It switches between evasive and power randomly. When randomly evasive, it can use Technique Man. When randomly power, can use Pocket Crusher.

I don't think we'll allow defensive +%'s to be converted to offensive +%'s and vice versa. You can convert +5% break tackle but not +5% force fumble. I'll go find my original explanation and make sure that's clear.

I have a few replays I can provide that show a LB following the WR well past the "zone" only to leave the underneath routes to the FB/HB wide open.

fwiw defenders covering the flats seem to stick to the flats well.

- Make non-deep zone defenders stay in their zone more strictly and use the better man-coverage version of intercept logic

It shouldn't be happening nearly as much. If you're seeing it happen with a particular type of zone coverage, post it in the Bugs forum and we'll look it over. Make sure to provide specific examples with pbp links and links to the DPC play please.
