Finding myself with alot of hurries, but not alot of sacks

at 26 speed, 38 agility (DT)

Which should i increase to help me get from the point where i blow past my offensive lineman and get to the quarterback?

Inevitably someone will say speed to get to the qb quicker. However I'd say watch the sim and see what's happening..... What will be more beneficial, getting off of the block quicker, or having more footspeed? It all depends what you're doing currently.

Blam, Dts always (in real life) face the more bulky and skilled Olinemen. TFL is a GREAT stat to look for, but the inside running game is pretty crappy or unappealing because no one uses it.

I have the same problem. Lots of hurries. I don't know if its speed our the QB has good vision and dumps it off quick. I'm not going to dump many points into speed so I hope its just good QBs.

i've got the same issue, i have agility at 48, so i'm gonna try working on some speed to see what happens.

imo it's a combination of speed and agility that help you close in. DT's have a short area to cove to make plays so you want to get up to top speed as fast as possible, accelereation is determined by agility. If you have speed at say, 15 and agility at say, 40 you will be up to full speed right after you beat the lineman but not move fast enough to get there. If you have speed at 40 and agility at 15 you wont reach top speed before the play ends. Find that magic number that allows you to get through the line and burst to top speed right before making the hit. I think agility should be about 20-30% higher than speed, keep in mind that agility helps you break through blocks and helps to activate some special abilities.
