It seems like it's Guyana's to lose. Zambezi has a really thin roster still, especially on defense. Hopefully they get it together. Aquabats are a threat, but they're going to have to improve their offense. Mega City Monsters look to improve on their first season and will challenge for a home playoff game. TAP is the real wild card here, and likely will end up the biggest challenge for the Punch. But a huge roster turnover means it's hard to know what to expect.

New teams to watch

Spring Hill Pirates-Coming off an 18-1 season (ouch those hurt) with a solid effective level. I think they'll be a bottom half of the playoffs team, but I don't see elite status on these guys
Kalahari Heat-Quite a few trophies for these guys including a silver last season. Can they focus enough to game plan during the season too though?
Manchester Mass Murderers-Yah, they were hear last season, but not really. They look to step it up this season as they get nearer to their peak, and have kept much of the team together. They could surprise some this season.
Stuttgart Stoners-Largely owned by one player and went 20-0 last season. But I don't think they'll adapt as well up here as some other teams.

Hellephant

I'm not really sure who to pick here. If forced, I'd take Nairobi. But A7, Cowbell and Warriors are right there. Sons are always tough too. RMT didn't take the next step they needed to last season, but they're still a team that can upset someone. ICB went young, especially on defense as we wanted to see how our future Alpineers do, but typically in the hunt. Did GG do something this off-season because they roster looks solid. Maybe they'll be back in it this season too.

New Teams to watch

NFL's Most Wanted-we're young, but we're accustomed to winning. We're also one of only 5 teams in the entire league with a full roster. That has to count for something.
Kalahari Night Riders-They're young too, but an old franchise. It won't be this season, but look forward to seeing these guys in the future.
Myrtle Beach Cyclones-I don't think the pros will be kind to them, but another 18-1 team that will hopefully stick it out and get better.

Too early to tell I think...What should be interesting is how much VA's change and then what team has the ability to adapt to those changes. It always seems to me like the winning team usually is the one with the better VA's. Gameplanning is a wash and builds are a wash.

I bet there are a lot of players on each team that have very similiar builds....I also bet that the gameplanners on each team do a very fine job. But the team that can better use their VA's as a whole will probably outperform.

We'll see what happens this offseason with the changes though.

Interesting theory, but I would say the opposite. It's the VAs that are almost universal for most positions/builds. Some teams use a team VA concept that allows you to maximize VAs by adapting your depth charts and AIs to fit that. Gameplanning is far from a wash, and builds are even further from a wash.

This will be the Warriors last season as currently constructed. So i have to say Warriors make it to WL. We will then decline promotion and gut.
