Did that many teams sell off? What happened to all the players in this age bracket?

5534 active players aged 220-239.

That's enough players to have 50 players on 110 teams, which is enough for 3 and 1/2 leagues.

6311 active players aged 201-240 (which are all the players that are too old for the regional minors).

That's enough players to have 50 players 126 teams, which is enough for nearly four leagues.

Are that many players really playing up in the National Semi-Pro league?

Archetype season created a big boom with the free player the season before your age group and it crushed player creation even with the new training system.
