Is in one hour and there is no thread about this? That can't be right.. Hopefully Texan DTD will cover all this next season.
The Alpha Champs: Lincoln Navigators (10-6)
Lincoln Navigators ended their regular season in 5th place, but has beaten HHWC, MPHD and Alpine to get to the WL Championship Game... that is quite the accomplishment and would make them a worthy winner of the World League season 21.
In all their three playoff games this season, Lincoln has been able to put up great numbers in the 4th quarter, when it really matters. (HULK) (MUDSLIDE)'s performance has been one of the best and most memorable World League playoff performances to date.
You can never count Lincoln out of a game either, and that makes them very tough to play.
The Zeta Champs: Odessa Mojo (10-6)
Odessa Mojo is in their second straight WL Championship Game. That alone should be enough to justify their position as one of the elite teams. For as long as I can remember Mojo has always been at their finest in the playoffs. They have looked good in the second half of the playoffs so far, so let's hope they can avoid last seasons second half meltdown.
The two teams met in week 1 where Lincoln edged out Mojo 27-25. I expect something similar this time, but I can't help thinking of last seasons WL Championship Game, where Mojo had a big lead at halftime and somehow lost the game. Looking back at Lincoln's playoff run we could be in store for something similar today.
Final score: Lincoln 30 - Mojo 27 ( OT WIN )
