With an awesome game coming up in the next 2 days...time to pay some homage to sportscenter!! Heres the championship version of who's got the EDGE (sponsored by EDGE shave gel)

Offense:

The 85' bears come in to this game with one of the best PW OCs in recent memory with Bevo05, his unbelievable ability to exploit the sim (just had to sneak it in there ) has many OCs scratching their head. He loves to pass the ball and runs in the short game. Bevo led the Bears to the number one offense in PW gold during the regular season, while it has struggled somewhat in the playoffs, he has been playing extremely well throughout the season. The Maine offense is led by guzzdude, a classic OC that loves to pound the ball and go deep with receivers and backs. A lot of short gain and long gain going on with the maine offense. This is uncharted territory for guzz, but with RK helping out with his tutoring, you can't count him out.

EDGE: Chicago 85' Bears

Defense:

The Maine defense is led by jackson55555, who is coming off of a terrific stand against the Short Bus Window Lickers. He had one of the best Ds in gold this season and has for the past couple of seasons. A mixture of 3-4 and 4-3 anchors this powerhouse defense. The bears' D is led by Gerr, the defensive guru that has posted a top 5 defense for the past 6 or so seasons. His defense was struggling earlier in the season but the Bears got hot at the right time, with 4 straight great defensive performances. It is clear that gerr is extra-motivated for the playoffs and I expect him to post another great performance. This is uncharted territory for both DCs, should be interesting to see which shows more poise.

EDGE: Chicago 85' Bears

Offensive Builds:

It's little known how good of a builder Bevo and chiwanna are. Their builds cater perfect to the pump fake and catch fake offense that Bevo runs, and the offensive line gives very good protection against DL players, that will be the biggest key in the game. The Maine QBs can take it to the air, with a lot of strength they can fire the ball down field and the WRs catch anything in single coverage. Gerr better find a way to get the receivers and backs double covered or it could be a long day for the bears.

EDGE: Chicago 85' Bears

Defensive Builds:

McCollums has been working with Maine for two straight seasons, it isn't exactly a coincidence that the Grenadiers have posted two straight championship game runs. Mccollums' DEs get a hurry on every play, and they make it virtually impossible for any play to progress, Bevo better find a way to get to the receivers early in the progressions. The Bears are a well built team, but have no standouts except for two amazing safeties ()

EDGE: Maine Grenadiers

Special Teams:

It's been ages since a team has scored on the Grenadiers through special teams, and on every possession they get great field position because of it. It is tough to beat them through the kicking and punting games. Their STs are run by SHINK who has done a great job all season. The Bears' ST is anchored by three STOPs that help in every which way, they have been very viable in the return games.

EDGE: Maine Grenadiers

Intangibles:

There is some fire in between these two teams, it was this time last season that Bevo, playing with the UT Pimps were embarrassed in the championship game, not scoring an offensive touchdown, Bevo will come out motivated today and looking to get the win. Gerr had never made it out of the second round before this season, but showed no nerves in the first three games of this postseason. It's possible they show up here, but who knows, this is PW dotball. Then come the defending champion Maine Grenadiers, who have showed that seeding means nothing...going from a 3-3 start back into the championship game, the experience will help with the guru RK lurking in the back.

EDGE: Maine Grenadiers

Overall:

The above categories are 3-3...all equally as important, this is shaping up to become a dogfight and a great game going down to the wire. This will be a game decided by an ST score or a D score. Maine boasts the best CBs in PW...delivering pick sixes galore, my guess is that we get one here, and it may be enough to push the Grenadiers over the top. Maybe we see an 80 yard touchdown off of a pump fake for the bears? Who knows, this is the championship game, where champions are made

EDGE: Chicago 85' Bears 27-24
With history on their side (no team has ever won 2 championships), the Bears will bring the trophy to the windy city, and after 8 seasons of dominant regular seasons, Gerr gets his trophy

Good luck to both teams!!! GO PEE WEE GOLD!

First it's not an uncharted territory since guzz in a historical stand point is a better coordinator than you or gerr. Probably top 5 on a purely coordinating stand point. Only uncharted territory is the fact he had to play underequipped underleveled throughout his career. Yes even when he was boosted he barely had any CE.

2nd of all, I come up with majority of the build plans for Maine and you can ask mccollums or guzz how stubborn I am with builds. It's not easy persuading RK on anything. The mccollums DEs (the one you are talking about) especially has been the most different build compare to his since I have always preferred an all around pass rushing d-line oppose to mccollums high strength high powered D-line. You might want to check out the three D-linemen that led the hurries this game. Those weren't mccollums build.

Don't really want to discredit anything mccollums contributed since he did along with other great agents in our team. But just to get things straight, I have always been amazed by his knowledge, and to me he is still the micheal jordan in PW and the single best coordinator I've seen. But don't overblow his contribution.

BNI didn't have trouble winning gold in S19 and this was before mccollums joined our team. So you probably have to make that 3 seasons in a row if you want to go with which builds winning gold. lol But we all know it's the coordinators that win games in PW not the builds. By the way all the credit goes to our coordinators for their hard work, they deserve 90% of the credit along with the agents.

I find this little bit ironic since I'm seeing Gerr this and Gerr that and a lot of kiss assing in this post when everybody knows the fact that he wouldn't be even in the final if it wasn't for Bevo. At least our guys all did it on their own without getting any direct help from anybody.

Correction:
With history on their side (no team has ever won 2 championships), the Bears will bring the trophy to the windy city, and after 8 seasons of chokefest, Gerr finally gets his trophy, thanks to Bevo and RK's premature retirement.

Ahh that's more like it

1st off your full of crap, Builds play a major role in winning and losing when it comes down to a huge game. A few points swing can mean a big difference in a game. You act like your some sort of God all the sudden after winning it one season and act like you know everything. Took you a long time to figure things out if I recall. The difference in a team like mine and yours is you have guys who have figured out the new system. We haven't. Some think they have. I am still experimenting with figuring out builds myself. Had they not changed the format after season 15, I dont think you would be winning as much as you have. You nailed it with all your experimenting and stuff which is good for you, but builds play a major role in games. A lot of factors play a role in winning and builds is a huge factor.

Maybe that's how you feel, I don't see any other people other than "your squad" that feels that way. Did you even fully read the reply or are you just basing on my last statement which was more of a joke than anything else. If I'm trying to act god, then don't you think I should be supporting the build theory since I came up with the builds? But I didn't so it's actually opposite of trying to be god or being a know-it-all. I think it's clear that the recent game is affecting your judgment about me but I have always went for the opposite approach of what your friends do here. That is to stay low key and stay humble, but yeah does it surprise you that I'm actually saying the right things I should have been saying in the past without being this super nice guy?

Yeah you always seem to suck RK nuts every chance you get. When your team was in Gold it was multi failure all over it. Go back in the closet shadow puppet.

As for you you always make these "jokes" but you and I both know it's no joke, you say what you mean as a joke. The game today had no effect on my post, just get tired of "how great I am threads from you guys. Also keep in mind, how many inactives did we have today? I promise you one thing Mr Micheal Jordans of pee wee, you match me build for build I will beat your nut loving club far more than you care to imagine. That's the only advantage you have today.

That would actually be me but I do it behind doors Relax and you know it wasn't his fault since he had to face multi gate and another one where 80% of his cbs went inactive.

I don't know why you are even in this thread when I didn't mention anything about you. Trust me I'm not the only one getting tired of Gerr's one man show in this forum and Bevo deserves more credit than him. Not to mention he behaves himself way better in forum after a win or a loss. I don't even understand why he didn't ask Gerr to change the name to UT Bears or something like that.

No offense RK, but your so called "jokes" often have an underlying nasty tone to them. It's very easy to not see them as a joke as I have several times before. It's cool to talk trash as long as it's done in fun, but your comments sometimes seem like an attempt to belittle a person rather than just fun trash talking. I would suggest lightening your tone a bit...
