Well, clearly, Chicago winning this would finally cement their legacy as a great gold team since they are clearly the best of the teams up there by comparison, but Maine winning twice in a row would make them one of the best teams ever if not the best. I really would hate to see Gerr break his curse or Maine win another one. However, I'll go with Maine 21-14 and here's why. Maine has looked amazing in these playoffs and Chicago nearly lost to LB. I think Maine's defense will dominate the game and they will take it.

DSBM should be higher imo

What about the Mud Dogs or ACS? They both were top notch teams for a while until the owners got burned out.

Why should you guys be on the list? You had a couple mediocre seasons in gold in 18 and 19. Then you had a couple good seasons but no trips to the finals. DSBM made it to the finals as did Dirty INC. The Insane Asylum was great in season 10 in league #5, then had 5 straight 11 win or more seasons in gold from season 11-15. As for Pain Nation, they had a 14-1-1 season and 2 10 win seasons along with an 11 win season and 2 lesser playoff seasons at 9-7 and 8-8 just like PNP. I would take the 4 10 win seasons over your resume just barely.

I mean they could be there just as easily, but neither of them made it to a conference championship game and MMD won a grand total of 1 gold playoff game I think and ACS had many bad or mediocre seasons in gold. Neither team is more worthy than the 5 up there and they probably wouldn't be in my top 10 with teams like PNP, Lunch Box, Crib Midgets (counting their lifetime performance), Final Thought, and Deep Throw It ahead of them, and they would be equal to a team like the Dharma Initiatives.

most of those win streaks were from early form coz they boosted early! ...I can't recall TIA ever making it past the 2nd round of the playoffs!

I'll say MMD is ahead of DSBM and on par with TIA (who in their prime was consistently better then MMD). But yes, we did suck in the playoffs, partially because we didn't always buy CEQ like the other teams but that's just part of the game.

Yep those are some really great teams. I think people forget how good TIA/NOPW were. I also have to agree that MMD always lacked CE and it was back when play callings were a lot limited so CE had a bigger advantage than today. I know there were some doubters when I said you would dominate if given the chance but I know when I see a great coordinator and is why I've been lobbying you to OC for my team for quite sometime.
