Of the replays you posted the very last one from the 2nd set looks fine. The first replay of that 2nd set - I don't have as much a problem with the LT blocking down on the MLB, I think the actual issue is why is the LG automatically glued to the NT (even though the NT is shaded b/w the LG/C). Ideally LG should slide out and block and wouldn't force the LT to block down on that play.

The 5 WR passing - all of those replays dont look good at all really - don't see why they have to do that.

Since I'm a Cobden GM, I see that the LOT in those replays is actually sporting 70+ vision so that's enough and not the issue. What's his play focus on?

I have no clue what happened in any of those.

Each play by itself is ok, since it can be a vision check or a OL cannot make a move, but there is a full half of the LT and LG either crossing or sliding to the inside, with no indication of vision checks.

Honestly, I think all are of the same familfy of the TE blocking bug. A default move by the blockers that just generate a complete fail with some blitz.

I am all for for OL looking bad and making mistakes, but those should be vision check (for all I care a OL with 90 vision will not be perfect) and not something that is repetitive.

I used the same teams defense and scouted the 5WR sets. I scouted about 20 and they all looked like the three below. The only one where the LT does what he is supposed to, he failed a vision check.

I scouted my own team as well. This does not occur vs just a normal 5WR D. I'm guessing it could be something about the spread and maybe MLB/FS placement.

LIKELY A BUG

I've seen this before. I think it's the FS causing the issue, messes up the blocking. Since my dots are rookies I just assumed it was a build issue.

IMHO is just pathing issue's with the game itself and has been for some time why you think they forced the new DC setups with the DLine and LB's. You can only do so much because teams glitching the O line Paths and splitting the gaps with FS/SS/LB's. Its real simple basic football to switch the Line up. Why you think the NFL lineman are payed millions a year for. They walk up to that line look at the Dline read the LB's and secondary. You think a RE playing inside shoulder LT and a ROLB right off his hip pocket knowing RE is stunting in and the ROLB on blitz around the LT. the LT drops back picks the backer the LG slides to the RE Center will pickup the NT/DT.

Real simple crap here to block this play . The TE lined up weak side. Why dont the LT drop back and pick up that RE instead he goes after a MLB LOL ? The TE let the RE get the inside and then left him to pick the CB up after he knew the end beat him inside? Why didn't LT drop back Pick the RE TE roll around pick the CB up off the end bam thats stopped there Now here is where it gets better. Since the LT when inside after a MLB when the LG should build the wall and picked the MLB up the LG dumb a$$ went to double team a center in a 3 down line the LT left the RE Straight shot to the QB the TE would never be able to pick him up he has inside on him already and the wall collapse again there was no wall due to poor block pathing in the sim? The RG Done what he should he picked up the LE out his pass block he didnt block down to a 3vs1 on the NT LOL.. but why didnt the RT drop back to form a pocket if he would have he would have picked up the CB off that end. Granted I seen the vision failure you can blam that on this play but ive seen this happen more than once without vision.

They found a way to place that DT in a location that commands the LG block. So if a MLB blitz the LT goes to the MLB forgetting about the RE.

It is a nice overload blitz, and I am now not 100% sure it is a bug. But the sim could handled it better, by letting the LG give a quick push to the DT and then try to pick up the MLB. I am guessing that a faster C would go and try to pick the RE. But that is messed up a bit.
I think it is important to see how this defense work against at the pro level, before proceeding.

I am not sure if these two issues, are related or not. The LT behavior is similar in both.

me. I totally agree.


For the cases without the cross block, I would like to see a better blocking code then leaving the RE free every time. Specially, since if you keep the HB to block you hope he takes the LB and not the DE (big on big). And it would be nice if the LG knew how to hand off the DT, that what real football players do.
This may be a needed improv,ent, but not as buggy as the cross block.

I agree there is a bug here, and will verify the report, but there are a lot of replays included that I think look ok, and they might be muddling the issue a bit. So just to be perfectly clear, the bug here is with the LG and LT switching blocks:

Got enough replays for sure, I agree where the LG/LT cross block, that's certainly not neccessary.
