Probably want to sign some Dots before you play games. CPU players don't act like real Dots, so anything you try wont be the same once you fill out the team.

I'm planning on bringing in lots of players over the next 24 hours or so. I literally just bought the team and wanna get games lined up.

the players you'd bring in at this stage of the season will probably be as bad as the cpus.
