Despite the shutout this was a close game, and Louisiana didn't put the Storm away until very late in the fourth quarter. The Storm defense did a good job on the Pelican wide receivers but they were unable to move the ball effectively on the Louisiana defense. The #1 Pelicans were led on offense by -=Champ=- Mike Bell who closed with 70 total yards. The real stars were on defense with -=Champ=- Jonathan Casillas putting together a great game with 11 tackles, 1 hurry and 2 forced fumbles and -=Champ=- Jeff Charleston had 3 tackles, 2 sacks and a hurry.
