Despite the shutout this was a close game, and Louisiana didn't put the Storm away until very late in the fourth quarter. The Storm defense did a good job on the Pelican wide receivers but they were unable to move the ball effectively on the Louisiana defense. The #1 Pelicans were led on offense by -=Champ=- Mike Bell who closed with 70 total yards. The real stars were on defense with -=Champ=- Jonathan Casillas putting together a great game with 11 tackles, 1 hurry and 2 forced fumbles and -=Champ=- Jeff Charleston had 3 tackles, 2 sacks and a hurry. The Pelicans will have the #1 seed tested when they close out the season vs #2 Texas Lone Stars(14-1) on Sunday in the game of the year.

#2 Texas Lone Stars(14-1)-The Lone Stars winning streak ends at 14 games as they fall to Algoma Blames Stu(7-8), 31-20. They maintain their #2 spot in the poll. Algoma got off to a hot start in this game scoring 17 unanswered first quarter points on some big time plays. The first big play came from Stylish Champion who had a huge 73 yard touchdown run. Later in the quarter with Texas in a position to get on the board, Female Action Hero forced a fumble at the 5 yard line and Texas Stu picked it up and returned it 95 yards for a touchdown. Those 2 big plays were enough to carry the Stu to an upset win. Algoma was led on offense by Stylish Champion who finished with 133 total yards and 2 TD's. On defense, Jebediah Cole had a great game with 11 tackles, 1 hurry and 2 forced fumbles. The Lone Stars can still secure the #1 seed when they host the #1 Louisiana Screaming Pelicans(15-0) on Sunday in the game of the season.

#3-L.A. Halos(12-3) -The Halos have a tough battle against the Stuttgart Blitzkrieg(3-12), who jumped on the Halos early, but the Halos rebound and end up winning 33-20, putting up 500 yards on the Blitzkrieg defense. Power HB made the Halos pay early when he took the opening play 67 yards for a TD. Then a few minutes later the Blitzkrieg went up 14-0 on a Power HB 1 yard touchdown plunge. On the next drive Smokin Sammy had an answer when he rumbled 65 yards for a touchdown closing the gap to 14-7. The Halos took the lead before halftime and never looked back, although Stuttgart hung in there. On offense the Halos were led by Smokin Sammy who piled up 159 yards and 2 TDs. On defense, Force had a nice game with 4 tackles, 4 sacks and a hurry. Divine SHot also connected on 4 FG's in the win. The Halos will close out the season on Sunday against Cheers is filmed in front of a live studio audience(7-8) who can secure a playoff spot with an upset win and some help. The Halos have secured the #3 seed and look like they will face Osaka in the first round.

#4 The Frogtown Posse(13-2) The Frogtown Posse roll over the The LEGION's Tangiers Cape Buffalo(2-13), 52-0. The Posse have now won 10 in a row and they are the hottest team in the east. This game was never in doubt, although it was scoreless after the 1st, but then the Posse went to work blowing out the Legion. On offense Frogtown was led by Solar Flare who caught 8 balls, for 111 yards and a TD, and Yack Attack added 56 yards receiving on 3 catches, and 2 TD's. On defense, Larry "The Beast" Jackson, a DE, finished with 10 tackles, 1 sack, 1 hurry and a TFL. The Frogtown Posse will now prepare for Czech Yourself(14-2) on Sunday. If Frogtown wins, they could secure the #1 seed with a Half Moon loss, and Czech needs to win and a Half Moon loss to get the #1 seed.

#5 Doinitin Djibouti(10-5)- The Djibouti came out on top against the Mayan Prophecy 2012(8-8), beating them 30-19, but they needed to comeback to do it. The Prophecy came out on fire taking a 19-6 lead into halftime, led by a 38 yard TD pass early in the first quarter from Drunk Eli to Aerosmith Dream On. However, in the 2nd half it was all Doinitin as they scored 24 unanswered second half points to win going away. The final nail in the coffin came with less than 6 minutes to go when Two Hearted Ale took a pitch 62 yards for a touchdown ending the Prophecy upset bid. The #6 Village Dog's have secured at least the #5 seed in the east and can move up to #4 with a win against the Stuttgart Blitzkrieg(3-12) on Sunday and a Doinitin loss against the Toads.

#7 Half Moon Bay Breakers(13-2) The Half Moon Bay Breakers move up to the #7 slot after dusting off the KC Chíefs(4-11), 31-6. This was a tight game early, with Half Moon only carrying a 7-3 lead into halftime, but they got busy in the 2nd half outscoring the Chiefs 24-3. A couple of big plays in the fourth quarter ended any dream of a dramatic comeback by KC. The Bay Breakers were led on offense by Stephen "Wheelchair Crazy" Hawking Jr. who finished with 78 yards rushing and a TD. Also, Loop Hughes grabbed 4 catches, for 59 yards and a TD. On defense, Denzel Drone harassed the Chiefs for 3 tackles, 3 sacks, and a hurry. The Half Moon Bay Breakers control their own destiny on Sunday. With a win against Porto Alegre PBR Farmers(9-6) they will secure the #1 seed in the west.

#8 Czech Yourself (13-2)-Czech Yourself routes the Southside Pride(0-15), 226-0 in a laugher. Czech put up over 950 yards total offense and this was just a tuneup for the next game on the schedule. #9 Osaka Storm-(9-6)-Osaka moves up to the #9 seed even though they lost to Louisiana(15-0). They played some tough defense and managed to keep it close vs. the #1 Pelicans, but ultimately fall 20-0. Despite the shutout this was a close game, and Louisiana didn't put the Storm away until very late in the fourth quarter. The Storm defense did a good job on the Pelican wide receivers but they were unable to move the ball effectively on the Louisiana defense. Osaka highlights were all on defense. They were led by D. Grizzly who finished with 5 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 hurries, 1 TFL, and Farve Sucks who had 6 tackles, 1 sack, 1 TFL, a KL, and a PD. However, in the 2nd half it was all Doinitin as they scored 24 unanswered second half points to win going away. The final nail in the coffin came with less than 6 minutes to go when Two Hearted Ale took a pitch 62 yards for a touchdown ending the Prophecy upset bid. On defense, u seen my baseball dogg racked up 7 tackles, and Playboy Swizzy finished with 3 PD's and a INT. The Prophecy close out the season against the Canucklehead Brigade(5-10) on Sunday. Thanks Halo!

But we lose one game and drop to 32nd in the poll - that's a bit harsh!

Eastern Conference Playoff scenarios. 5 teams vying for 2 playoff slots. Only Mayan can lose week 16 and make the playoffs. The rest have to win to have a chance since 2 of the 5 teams play each other. Bali Insurrection vs. World Legends.

If Mayan Prophecy Wins:
Mayan Wins #7 seed

Cheers wins they are in as the #8 seed. Cheers only losses a tiebreaker in a two-way tie with Algoma and that is impossible.

In a 3 way tie with Cheers, Algoma and World, Cheers has favorable points against advantage in a 3 way-tie

if Cheers loses(Mayan Wins):
World Legends in if they beat Bali. Only loss against potential tiebreaker teams is against Cheers.

Algoma needs to win @ Windsor coupled with a Legends loss against Bali.

Bali in if they beat World Legends, and Algoma falls to Windsor.

If Mayan Losses:
Possible 4 way tie for last 2 playoff spots.

Only way Mayan doesn't get in with a loss is if Cheers and World Legends win.

Cheers is in with a win. They will be guaranteed to finish in a 3 way tie with a win and they own the tiebreakers in this scenario. They could even get the #7 seed with a Mayan and World Legends loss.

If World Legends beat Bali, they will have a favorable record vs tiebreaker teams and they are in. They could get the #7 seed in a 3 way tie with Mayan, and Algoma. Mayan has favorable points against vs Algoma.

Algoma needs a win, coupled with a Cheers and World Legend loss.

Bali would need to win, and Cheers and Algoma lose.

Quick attempt at it. It might not be perfect since the GLB tiebreakers are funky but hopefully this is close.

GG LSP. I felt like watching the POs from last season. First couple of drives nothing happens... BOOM! Your returner takes one back and then it's all downhill from there!

Btw. does your TE has the "I cought the ball and now I'm going to eat you, so run away in fear" VA. Our OLB got pretty scared on this play: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1601400&pbp_id=11812059

I couldn't stop laughing when I saw that play. Our TE is fast, but he isn't that fast for that kinda pursuit angle
