This script does not weight offense and defense ranks enough and rates SOS too much. PNM and BNI are too low and Montpellier is too high for their record and offense and defense rankings.

It's the best script out there right now. Which is why I wanted to have someone write a new one, but people started talking about going way overboard and setting up a BCS type system. I just want a script that does exactly what jkid2 says, less focus on SoS and more on offensive & defensive ranking. But also adding ST ranking and somehow factor in ranked scrimmages against other Gold teams.

+1, however SoS may not be a huge factor in Gold, but in Silver it has much more relevance. A terrible team can go 12-0 and look like god in cleats until the lose to their first real opponent by 80.

Yeah, it definitely has the East as the stronger conference. That is probably accurate, but I don't think by that much.

You do need SoS, but the scripts out there use it too much, so you have to find the right balance.

That's the other problem. Since the east went 13-3 in week 1, a team like PNP is being penalized for the rest of its conference even though it won its week 1 game.
