Looked like the LOLB was screened by the SS, then when the TE fell or whatever happened to him the LOLB was able to get outside. I've seen my Blocking TE appear to block two defenders a lot, but there is always one being screened by his own player when it happens.

just part of the terrible pathing to be honest. SS jumps inside at the pass, virtually running into the TE, the LOLB doesnt know how to avoid blockers, so he runs into the back of the SS. Pathing sucks, there's no such thing as outside contain.

I see the TE only blocking the SS. The LB slows down because he can't see through the TE/SS, the ball is still in the air, and behind the line of scrimmage. He proceeds forward unhindered once the ball is caught.

NOT LIKELY A BUG

TE clearly blocks the SS. Dots are huge on field, so just because the LB and the SS seem to be right on top of each other, does not mean they really were. LB slows to verify play, maybe missed a vision check, or just flat out got fooled by the screen. That's why we call screens

The LB in the OP move backwards, for 2-3 ticks. This is not just slowed down.

I don't know if this is a double block or not, but just wanted to get the fact straight.

I see only 1 tick with a slight backwards movement, and he has already slowed before that happens.

It looks like a combo of things...first the whole visual thing where a dot is a representation of the player and not truly 100% accurate in playback and the fact that the line the LB is taking to the ball passes through the SS/TE who are engaged. Dots can't run through dots.

Marking not a bug
