So I am tossing around the idea of buying a lower level team. I am a little confused about the player age range per league and wanted to get a couple questions answered if possible.

Prep is 21-80 days old and University is 61-120 days old, what do these ranges mean? Does the player have to be just in that level range when he is signed and he can stay on the team forever? Or can he only be on the team while he is of age? If yes, what happens when he reaches 81 or 121, do you lose him immediately or how does that work? Basically I'm trying to learn the rules on player age, when a player will be acceptable for the lineup, tips on age signings, etc. The FAQ page doesn't really give that clear of an explanation and it doesn't mention anything of the sort in their tutorials.

You'll see that "Enforced Age Caps" is 41d-100d (for today). Today, a prep team can sign only a player aged between 41-100. It will change day by day, tomorrow it'll be 42-101. It will be reset to 21-80 at the end of the season.

About losing your player because of age restrictions... It doesn't happen unless your team is demoted by your request or financial reasons. Because next season your prep team will be in "University Leagues" and your players' age will fit to enforced age caps of university leagues.

So basically, a player you signed, can stay on the your team as long as your team is not demoted.
