Warrior General Games

Rockford: No suprises here.. Rockford has carried a near perfect Record into the Playoffs for the past 3 Seasons.. They still have a big match-up coming up vs Northwestern and a game vs. a Utah team that looks like the Utah of old.. Outside of that it appears to be smooth sailing for RR..

Northwestern: New guys on the block setting their mark fast and early. They have 2 very impressive wins on the schedule beating both Sorrento and Black Dougs... They still have Utah, Rockford and Boston on the schedule so it will be interesting to see who steps up and gives this team a Challenge.. Is an undefeated Season on the brink?

Hellsinki: This is another favorite to make the CC Game.....They look to be unstoppable with wins over O'Side and a non League win over SOA.. Their next game vs Lactose should prove interesting and give me a better idea of just how good this team could be..

Cascade: Very impressive win vs. Conference Champion Sorrento..
Pulled the short straw and got a tough 2nd half of the Season around the bend.. Still have Hellsinki, Warriors, Lactose and, O'Side on the Schedule.. After a shocking loss to Middleville these guys could end up as low as the #7 Seed..

The Warriors: Impressive League and Non-League record. They have beat some very good teams and won.. Also have lost some very close games to very tough teams.. In my eyes The Warriors are a lock for the #1 or #2 Seed in the Division.. In the Eastern Conference I'm not sure which seed is the best considering all the talented Coaches and Owners. Still have Cascade, Middleville and Lactose on the schedule..

Boston: Interesting team with a good record.. Hard to get a good read on these guys considering they have 2 losses vs. the Top Teams and have beaten mostly or all CPU teams.. Boston may go into the Playoffs feeling good about themselves but they will be entering a different world if they make it past the 1st Round..

Side Notes:

Lactose: Still the team to beat in the Eastern Conference! Z is one of the top DC's in Pee Wee with an impressive record with Short Bus in Pee Wee Gold... If the OC is any good at all they can be dangerous when they want to be..

Middleville: Impressive and shocking win over Cascade.. Gonna be interesting to see how they can finish out the Season and watch if they can move up the Bracket for a better Seed...

O'Side: Not sure what's happening here but I'm not sure if they are trying this Season.. If they are it just shows how good the Eastern Conference really is.. Normally they are a lock for a Top 4 Seed in the Playoffs and this Season they are a bubble team..

From what the guys with experience of this league are saying, I think there are some teams who are holding alot of stuff back for the post-season.

The Lactose gang seem to be the best example of this - having said that being a low seed does cause its own issues; having to constantly go up against the tougher teams in the playoffs.

I've personally been burned getting a 16-0 record (not in Pee-Wee) only to lose to one of theteams I beat in the conference because I sold out my defensive tactics that killed their O the 1st time round.

Felt a bit like the Patriots/Giants in 2007.

My dark horse in the East would be the New Brunswick Chocolate Ponies - well built and plenty of coaching resources.

Empire, I remember playing you in S18 in a huge surprise championship game in S5 (I think?)
You owned Vigilante Justice and I ran the Helsinki Hawks (it was a 6 vs 5 seed in the finals)...I remember that

Yeah, I know munch is saving his best offensive gameplans for the playoffs...its silver so the seeding don't matter

Also, SBWL has been a bad example of my D this season, we've played really badly on the D side of the ball there, PNP is playing better on defense atm...LE is just a fucking tank so we aren't losing any games because he puts up 35+ every single game

Hey man - well remembered...I think my brain had been busy blanking that game out

Bit of a surprise that our running game got going so well yet we still lost.....that was my only previous go at Pee-Wee the tactics and builds take a little getting used to

Boston is happy for now and yes have dined on lower rated teams. Was oot for both loses but no excuses we will have to play better. Playoffs would be nice as this team was the Monstarz from last season so they have already done much better in that since.
