Team: Victoria Assassins

They do set for my other team. But for the Assassins, i tried to set
all 3 audible options to 'no' for a game, saved it, and when i checked all 3 went back to 'yes'

how soon before the game did you try and set it?

Did someone else with OAI access decide differently? Does it work now? Unless it happens continuously and you can answer more then 1-2hours and no to the first two questions, I'd guess it's not a bug.

theres no one else with oai access except team owner , and he is always hands off with oai. The game is not till tomorrow...

nope, still CANNOT set the Audible Options to 'No'.... i attempt to change the dropdown from Yes to No, which it will allow, then save the oai, and then immediately the Options indicate No again.

Starting to panic and run in circles while engaging in self flagellation, so please help!

Son of a BITCH!!! FIXED IT!!! The goddam parallel settings in the Basic Tactics Section have
to be set to No as well, and then it will automatically change them in the oai!

It might not be a bug, but this should be indicated somewhere that this is what happens!

actually, this does seem like a bug, tho an ez fix.

You don't need to change the basic setting for it to work. I bet this was a cache issue.

I can't duplicate this in Chrome, IE, or FF. Changing it in either place changes it in the other for me.

Can you tell us what browser you were using, and whether or not you attempted to clear the cache?

I just duplicated it again just now... in IE. hadnt tried to clear cache yet , will do so now...

.... and done, deleted all temp internet files, and .... yes i can still do it.

step 1 - i check the aubible settings on the current enabled oai

step 2 - i go to basic tactics section , and change a audible setting there

step 3 - i go back to the current enabled oai, and viola, the setting i changed in basic has automatically changed.

Just to make sure. Do you press 'update' on the OAI screen ?

There is no problem that when you change the basic settings your current AI updates. The only issue is if it does't go the other way too.

I've always thought when you changed either the basic tactics area for this or the OAI area for this, it changed both.

At least it always seemed to do so.

Also, as tragula said, are you updating the AI's after you make those changes?

My IE8 works fine both ways.
If I update it in Basic, then it changes it for you in the OAI.
If I update it in the OAI, then it changes it for me in Basic.

Does anyone have a different version of IE to test this with?

good point sir. Just because the settings on the oai change , doesnt mean that they are 'set' , because i dont hit 'update'.

However , the point of the thread is that i CAN NOT make them 'update' (by hitting the update button) UNLESS the DESIRED parallel settings in the Basic
section are set the same way.

The other point of this thread is that a note of this phenomena should really be posted on both the basic tactics page and the
oai page.

But whutev, im good now.
