the FS is in cover zone shallow in deep weak 3rd
the CB is in cover man w/o move in zone coverage

it wasn't a problem last season
...but I need to know if this is the cover man w/o move that is doing this? ...if it is the case then can I have the info on the update plz coz I wasn't made aware of this ...info plz?

the LOLB is in cover man w/out move and the progression is TE, HB Strong, WR2 in zone coverage ...the TE goes in to block so the LOLb should automatically goto his next assignment which is on the HB ...I don't know what he was trying to do with that play
...the SS was also in cover man w/out move and his first assignment was HB Strong, then WR2, TE in zone coverage

Please take a more serious approach to creating Bugs Threads..

There are rules and procedures stickied inside the Bugs Forum.

Players fail vision checks as they are not always as perfect as we would like them to be.

The FS played his assignment correctly. Probably jumped the route and failed by the looks of it. CB thought he had help over the top and played inside from what it appeared before the FS jumped the route and led to a TD.

I don't really see anything off the wall crazy in this play.

Tell me if I'm missing it.

This to me looks like a few different things. I'm willing to bet he failed a vision check in his progressions and didn't have the agility to cut back after over persuing..

well it wasn't the first time that he failed it ...he did it on the next time that this play came about also

...what was he supposed to be pursuing may I ask?

No it doesn't deserve it. He starts an interception path with the Halfback, which was his 2nd progression, and he should have been because the TE (his first progression) was blocking..

See what I mean?

Both plays look fine to me. In both cases, the defender was outmatched by a faster, more agile offensive player.

I see an LB going into a dead end when he should have been picking up on the HB ...you say interception, but there was no int path happennin on the HB when the HB is a mile on the inside of him thanks to that run wide by the LB when there was nothing to run wide for ...all I see is an LB outpositioning himself

And players will not always position themselves perfectly..

I feel this issue is NOT LIKELY A BUG.

Cover w/o Move I don't think has anything to do with this issue.

If you frame forward from the snap to the precise moment the QB switches target from TE to the WR, the CB's coverage is perfect. That eliminates the Cover man w/out move issue.

From this point the CBs build and player tactics will effect how close he maintains position, with no info on those its hard to make a judgement.

The FS movements are more worrying to me, but there are possible reasons for that too.

sorry, I'm just being a nuisance! ...I see the likely scenario, the LB fails the visual check on the HB and then runs parrallell to the man for his assignment on the WR2, which makes it look a bit lame

I agree that this is not buggy behavior, just over-matched defenders in the posted replays.
