#1-L.A. Halos(1-0)-The Halos roll over The Impact Players(0-1), 80-7. The outcome was never really in doubt as the Halos took a 24-0 lead into halftime. Freak added 11 catches for 139 yards and 2 TD's. On defense, Grin finished with 6 tackles, and an interception. The Halos maintain the #1 position, but it will be tested on Sunday when they travel to face Algoma Blames Stu(1-0).

#2-Louisiana Screaming Pelicans(1-0)-Louisiana opens the season routing the KC Chiefs(0-1), 94-0 is typical Pelican fashion. They jumped on the Chiefs early and often and this was never a contest with Louisiana racking up 38 first half points. The Pelicans were led by -=Champ=- Courtney Roby who racked up 4 return TD's, and added a 68 yard TD run on offense. -=Champ=- Robert Meachum abused the Chief secondary for 6 catches, 194 yards and 3 TD's. On defense, -=Champ=- Jabari Greer grabbed 8 tackles, and 4 PD's, and -=Champ=- Charles Grant added 5 tackles, 2 hurries and 2 sacks. #2 Louisiana hosts #7 Windsor Nobles(1-0) on Sunday, a team that had a defensive battle vs. The Pink Toothbrush(0-1) today.

#3-Doinitin Djibouti(1-0)-The Djibouti have a tough fight vs. Great Songs but come out on top, 23-10. Doinitin went in the locker room with a 13-3 lead and dominated time of possession in the 2nd half, and Songs(0-1) could not mount a comeback against the stifling defense after the Djibouti scored on their first possession in the 2nd half. The Djibouti were led on offense by Two Hearted Ale(16 Rush, 78.5yds; 0 Rec, 0yds; 1 TD) and on defense, Chazno Trauma racked up 8 tackles, 1 sack and a hurry. Dointin hosts #10 Canucklehead Brigade(1-0) on Sunday in their first conference match-up.

#4 Tradewest Battletoads-(1-0)-Tradewest handles a good Helsinki Coyotes(0-1) team and comes out on top, 26-9. The Toads got started early taking a 16-3 lead into halftime, and then put it away for good when Dozer Cruiser rumbled for a 19 yard touchdown run midway through the 3rd quarter ending any possibility of an upset bid. Tradewest was led on offense by Zeus, who finished with 5 catches, for 100 yards. On defense, last years Zeta MVP continues to frustrate offenses as he puts up 4 tackles, 5 hurries and 4 sacks. The #4 Toads have a big-time match-up on Sunday when they travel to face the #6 Stuttgart Blitzkrieg on Sunday on Mini-Helmet day at the yard.

#5 Texas Lone Stars(1-0)-The Lone Stars crush a solid Porto Alegre PBR Farmers(0-1) team 50-7. The Lone Stars started off slow, down 7-3 after the first quarter, but then they responded with 47 unanswered points to run away with it and never looked back. On offense Stuka 'Kanonen Vogel' rushed for 292 yards and 4 touchdowns. On defense, Hong Kong _Phooey deflected 6 balls, only allowed 2 receptions on 8 targets, and added 3 tackles. #7 Windsor Nobles(1-0)-The Nobles drop down a slot after a tough battle vs. The Pink Toothbrush(0-1). The Nobles only scored one touchdown late in the first quarter when Kona Fire Rock Pale Ale connected with Thomas Brusobut on a 27 yard touchdown pass, and that was enough to outlast Toothbrush, 10-6. Windor's defense was too much for Pink, as they prevented them from threatening for most of the 2nd half. Windsor was led on offense by Kona Fire Rock Pale Ale, 11/27 138 yards and a TD. On defense, King Of Da South led the way with 4 tackles, 5 PD's, and only allowed 5 catches on 12 attempts.
