I nominated the best ten teams of all time, counting total performance. I gave more credit for longer lasting teams. Does anybody have an opinion on this list?

1. Short Bus Window Lickers- easy choice
2. Fighting Gamecocks- if it were by indvidual seasons, they would only have 1 in the top 25 (18), but overall the gold run of 9 straight 12-4 seasons or better has been amazing
3. He Hate Me!!!- great team, but a slight knock for the shorter timespan
4. loldots- Another great team, but they only played for 2 seasons
5. FCA- their run from season 7 to season 10 was one of the best of all time
6. Maine Grenadiers- been a great team since around season 13 in silver 1
7. Crackertown Juniors- great team for a long time
8. Cascade Surly Goats- They weren't good for that long, so they aren't as high as they could have been
9. The Insane Asylum- classic version, they were pretty amazing
10. Lone Star- first gold champs, excellent from seasons 7-13 or so

Others in consideration:

Tombstone Outlaws, Deep South Baby Makers, Deep Throw It, Sir Flumps A Lot/Twin Peaks, Chicago 85' Bears, Bengalfish Guppies, Mississippi Mud Dogs, DIRTY INC., Dharma Initiative

CEP has to be in consideration with some of the ones on the bottom also.

It has been going strong since season 8 I believe

Doh...thought my undefeated seasons in Copper then Silver with championships(S12-S13) and then a Gold regular season record of 86-16-1 over 7 seasons (S14-S20) might have broken me into that list, but I guess my poor Gold playoff record is keeping me out. I wonder if one good playoff run is all I need...

I think that CEP's poor performance in Gold is keeping them out also.

they are a 300+win team though

Bears should be very close to, if not in the top 10

Problem with lists like this are they tend to be very subjective. I wonder how a statistical list would come out. We would have to come up with a set of rules and probably limit it to Gold league and tourney performance only.

I created a statistical version of this in another post, so go there if you want to see how your team stacks up.

Yes, we had very poor showings in our last 3 Gold seasons. Not a total wash though as we were 11-4-1 and 10-6 in the first 2 seasons in PW Gold and were in the playoffs both times. We were an original member of Pee Wee Gold after winning the old PW League 10 championship.

Tombstone needs to be top 10. I can't remember the lolDots...somebody refresh me?

DoRD should be in others receiving consideration. And there are 3-4 in the others receiving consideration that IMO aren't really a consideration.

I agree, Tombstone was dominate for the few seasons they were in Gold and really should be on that list.

also Lone Star should be higher! ...they did things in that first gold season that had everyone doubting that they could finish the way that they did ...always had an unconventional approach to the way that they did things and always got good results coz of their own unique style

Sorry jkid2, terrible list. Only thing I agree is SBWL being #1.

I'm not sure if you are trying to be funny but you just said that you are giving credit to longer lasting teams and yet you ranked
loldots #3 for playing 2 seasons and FCA for what 3 seasons? Seriously, what's so special about qb rolling during the pre-DPC era.
It was pretty much a casual league

Tombstone Outlaws should be top 5 at worst. LSM should be much higher. Inaugural gold league champ and they were like million years ahead of their time. They were also consistently great for over 10 seasons before they decided to hang up.

Surlygoats short lived? They had 5 quality seasons and had one of the most dominant seasons of
all time. If they didn't decided to take a break, they would have repeated easily in S18.

Final thought, NO PWs, SAS, DorD not even worth consideration?

Oh and you have Maine way too high. We only have the most all time tournament wins, most major tournament wins (wins as in championship wins) and has only
won one gold league championship. Not enough regular season wins to be mentioned with the greats you listed there. Edit please

I think any team that won a Gold championship should be in the top-10, period. Those making it to the championship game more than once or having long term success being towards the top of the list and those who were one and dones being toward the middle to bottom.

My list would be...

#1 SWBL
#2 FGC
#3 Tombstone
#4 Cascade Goats
#5 Lone Star Mercenaries
#6 Maine
#7 Crackertown
#8 HHM
#9 Brigate Nere Italia
#10 Crabs
