Points are pretty straight forward, you beat a team, you get positive points equal to thier current overall win percentage. You lose to a team and you lose (1 - thier overall win percentage) points.

This will mean at times a team with a better win/loss record will be lower ranked. My team(BOZ SB) at 6-0 is a perfect example of this right now, we haven't lost, but we haven't beat a team with a record better then .500 so we come out behind teams with losses.

Looking to add the overall win/loss of teams lost to and beat to the stat line in the near future to hopefully show this better.

It's not quite the most difficult schedule per say. It means the teams you beat have the second most number of wins between them. I will get the other half of the number up for next 'week' and hopefully that will make more sense.
