I was on my way here to post this but seen another thread started http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=4548571 and I do not want to compare Elite Pro to Pee Wee since they are completely different.

None the less.
If my plays do not link correctly someone please post the links and I will fix them. I have a problem linking plays.

Please explain to me how this is possible that one guy can block 3. The pathing is the issue with these, not the builds.

Thank you all.

it amazes me that GLB has a habit of denying or dragging their feet on actual on the field issues that can change the game....instead Mr GLB wastes time out on the suggestion board starting fires talking about play intensity.

its ridiculous.

if the O can run threw other O players....then D players should be able to run threw other D players. and no O player should be able to block 2 dots at once.

Okay what I am seeing in the OP. You have your entire team bunched up inside to defend an outside QB run?

But you don't expect any bottle necking? Spread out the defenders if you want to contain the outside.

Everything football tells me not to bunch 9 guys into the box to defend an outside rush..

It's not hard to Tag Rushing QB's and do this either.

You're missing the point. This happens with spread D's as well. It's been an issue for seasons now.

Lets break this play here http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1638693&pbp_id=2518011

The DE's and OLB's are both outside the Tackles. Both DE's are playing shallow flats and the ROLB is covering the HB weak side. Those two guys gets blocked by the (edit here for correction) the FB. Well that screwed the D stopping them there. Than the CB, RILB and FS are pursuing the HB also. The WR has the FS on lock down. No big deal, BUT here comes the RILB and FS and they get blocked by the WR also and the next thing you know the HB just ran for 67.5 yards.

So, in conclusion, the offense blocked 5 defensive guys with 2 offensive guys. DO YOU SEE THE PROBLEM NOW.

You either linked the wrong play or are not seeing what I see?

No, that is it. The FB blocks the DE and ROLB and the WR takes care of the CB, FS and RILB. That is the play Q4 8:35 2nd & 5.5 on OWN 32.5 http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1638693&pbp_id=2518011

Here I assume we are talking about the WR.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1638693&pbp_id=2508920
He starts blocking the CB. He releases the CB, but the CB is low level and takes a long time to make the big turn needed to pursue. The WR then blocks the RILB.

WR only blocks the CB here. RILB again is low level and has to make an adjustment to the HB route. He is at no point blocked by the WR.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1638693&pbp_id=2511611

WR only blocks CB. RE takes a bad line and has to adjust or fails a vision check(hard to tell at this level)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1638693&pbp_id=2516461

LT Blocks no one. FB blocks RE only. ROLB picks a bad initial line and then adjusts (again slowly due to level) to a better one as he nears. WR Blocks CB, releases CB as RILB nears. Low level CB takes a long time to turn and make pursuit. WR then Blocks RILB.

At no point in any of those replays were 5 guys stopped by 2 players. Just because a player slows near a blocker doesn't mean he was blocked.

My problem with this play is that the WR is blocking the CB, and the FS and RILB just run into them, effectively blocking themselves. Wouldn't they try to run around the CB/WR to get to the ball carrier? Even 8 year old kids know to run around someone to get where they want to go instead of just running into them.

The younger players dont have the agi to move around a blocker and it shows as they slow around the blocks, sometimes actually running into their own defender.

I am verifying this as not likely a bug.
