You can get get a FF without big hit or monster hit but having big hit or monster hit enhances the probability that you will get a FF.

That's pretty deep

It's also begging the question. (Yes, somebody actually used the phrase "begging the question" correctly!). The thread is about whether MONSTER HIT works properly by greatly increasing the chance of forcing fumbles or is broken, so some noob jumping in and saying "Monster hit enhances the probability that you will force a fumble" is seriously non-useful.

Yeah, we know what Monster hit is SUPPOSED to do. We're wondering if it actually does it.

It'll work once you get it high enough. Having monster hit at 1 or 2, you might notice little to no difference, but if you have it at say 5 or or higher, you'll notice more FF because the probability increases to making the FF.

I got my Monster Hit to 3 and I've caused 1 FF so far, so I would say it helps. You also have to have good strength and tackling otherwise having a high monster hit doesn't do anything.

My SS has 4 FFs this season with 0 on monster hit or big hit. All FFs need is speed, agility and strength...

It also depends on who they're hitting, The only true way to test to see if it makes a difference is to run one play over and over again adding monster hit everytime you replay it and see how many FF you get with 0 monster hit like 30 times, then do it with 1 monster hit, then 2, and so on and so on. That's the only 100% way you can see if it really helps even the though that's not possible.

The only way to know if it makes a big difference is to see the code.

Since that ain't happenin I'll put my points elsewhere. Like Str, Agi, And Spd.

More Str = More FF

GUARANTEED

No need to hope monster hit does it when I can just up my strength and know for sure.

I'm sure monster hit would probably help. I have 0 on monster hit and through my first 10 games I've had no FFs.

I really don't think it's guaranteed.. but I think it helps out a good bit. I kind of figure that the harder you hit someone (SPD), the squarer you hit someone (AGI), and the ability to rip the ball out (STR) all combine to create FFs. I possibly might start pumping some points into Monster Hit to see if I get any feedback from it.

I had 5 Ffum last season and have 4 already this year through 9 games with 0 in Monster Hit and 0 in Big Hit and set to wrap up tackling in tactics.

They are nerfing wrap-up. So I guarantee everyone who has terrible TCKL, is SCREWED for next year and will miss a TON of tackles.

Which may end up hurting defenses very badly. Since more points will be used towards tckling, the defenders may end up losing speed and getting burned by speedy WRs. I hope thats not the case because then it comes down to which offense has faster runners.

Honestly, in my opinion they are doing this to make "power backs" more enticing to break tackles and whatnot. That way GLB won't all be about the elusive back and running around people.
