Shouldn't YAC be calculated based off the yardage a player picks up after he crosses the line of scrimmage? It is currently being calculated from where they catch the ball behind the line.
Example:
My TE has 1 catch for 5 yards, but 10 yards of YAC because he caught the ball 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage and than ran for 5 yards. This doesn't make sense since he didn't actually pick up the 5 yac yards to get back to the line of scrimmage.

I agree that the -5 yards behind the line of scrimmage should not be counted but i think this is more of a suggestion.

Im with Rikkhen, pretty sure this is working as intended.

YAC is based on the point of reception not on positive yards from the line of scrimmage.

I agree. YAC should start counting as soon as the receiver catches the ball no matter where he is on the field.

YAC is correctly being charted here..
