How would you recommend multi-training a returner?

My current thought was to unlock stamina, vision, and carrying, enhance carrying to 30%, and multi-4 train that with agility. Then when I'm done training agility, I would sub in strength in the 4th spot.

Here is why I am hesitant:
1) Strength will need to be (much?) higher than stamina in the final build, even though it is a secondary.
2) Carrying needs to be much higher than the other attributes (other than speed and agility), so should it still be one of the 3 that I unlock?
3) I've heard the argument that vision is overrated in a returner...

Thanks

I'm multi-training my returner like crazy. I'm trying what someone recommended to me where I multi-train as soon as I soft-cap my first attribute (speed). It's still too early in my CB's career to tell if it's working, but his effective level is already +2 at lvl 14, so I guess it's not bad either.

My theories to your questions:
1.) Yes, str should be higher. Keep in mind stam is a major, and what I've found is if you raise stam to 25'ish and leave it alone forever, it raises very commendably into the 40's via ALG's - plenty for a pure return man imho.

2.) Yup, have carrying be 3rd priority. Doesn't matter how you do it, make it so.

3.) Yup, totally agree. I used to do 3/1 cap. Now, at the risk of being laughed at, I only do 2/1. ALG's will take it to the mid 50's. Plus, Return Spec will add +45% and Special Teamer +15%. After all that, if you're still concerned, you can always adjust your norm equipment or go Football Genius. Regardless, who needs vision when my return man is breaking spin tackles like a mofo?...

And before anyone asks if my return man was blind... He saw the holes and pursuit angles just fine.

The only thing I disagree with strongly here. A few seasons back, I would have agreed with you, but now I wouldn't want a returner with less than 55ish stamina.

I agree with Forbin, Stamina's very important for returners, it takes a lot of stamina to be able to reach that top speed that they have.

And yea the return game has evolved, so values that seemed high to me then are a bit low now. For example, I used to think ~120 speed was ideal so as not to outrun the blockers, but now I'm leaning towards ~135'ish. I didn't have the multi-training system for my old KR/PR guy like returners do now, so the dynamics have changed.

Think big. 145 without VA will be the norm in a few seasons, for every returner.

How soon do you think Stamina becomes a truly important ability to start training?

At just level 13/14, I feel like I've got other areas to build on first.

Also, are people multi-training 4 or 3 abilities? I've been working 3 most of the time. Is 4 more beneficial?

Not that I don't believe you, but can you elaborate a little as to why?

I'm sure there might be a thread somewhere on the site as well, but I just wanted to know.

I feel like if I'm trying to get certain skills to certain levels, I'd want to train those every single day instead of having to wait a handful of days for a boost in 3 or 4 spots.

I'm training 3 right now, but is the difference in bonus % that helpful to train 4?

Just trying to get some perspective.

Honestly, because Rage Kinard told me so.

I haven't done the math on all that crap, but a few really smart guys have, Rage being one of them.
