Because I am bored. This is going to suck and not be accurate. But maybe start some discussion, or flaming, or both.
(And hopefully a Track thread will follow).
1. ESL - Got to give the champs their due, although they have made some changes - I am sure recruiting wasn't hard, and they may come back even tougher. That logo they sport is pretty sweet as well.
2. Odessa - They had a very impressive end of season/playoff run - And I won't let roster changes take them down any notches because almost all of the returning teams have had a decent overhaul. Will they stay on top in S21, or will bolick be back calling 20 a fluke at the end of the season.
3. HHWC - Always tough, and should be at the top of the vicious pack in Alpha come end of season. They don't only impress with a tough lineup - these dudes know how to plan, (How much for tutoring sessions?).
4. MPHD - One of the teams (besides Jebs) that didn't really make any roster changes, so the strong chemistry should help them get off to a strong start, and with Taut's builds, they should continue strong all season.
5. Blaze - After a run as one of the best teams in the game season after season, we saw the Blaze skid in S20. No doubt they have revamped that lineup (and have a sexy effective level to show for it), and will be back in typical Blaze form in 21. If not Pride has vowed to ragegut and take the whole game with him.
6. Alpine - cavalier knows how to run a team, and Alpine is part of that crazy top heavy Alpha that will resemble the Big East in basketball and beat themselves up all season. Like most of the other Alpha teams, Alpine is a renowned franchise and will continue to prove why in 21.
7. Lincoln - With screen plays bound to be nerfed in S21, these dudes are looking at a tough road to success. For real, another great franchise who has done a great job screening all their GMs because they are top notch. And Duke898 is a hell of a recruiter because he has obviously put in work and screened through the talent out there to continue to put together a top roster.
8. Hali - The team that has more names than God is back again in S21. They just made it in with a tie on week 16, and by the look of the open builds on their roster - should stick around for S22. Although a lot of the sticking around could be about being in lolZeta, I still like the roster they have and think they will be a tough club in 21.
9. Moose - They sport a silver cup from 19, and with the bullies in Alpha will have some work to do to repeat that performance. Not a whole hell of a lot of changes to the roster, but dimmy and his crew know how to dotball so they will stand tough in that daunting conference. The real question is whether or not they can get over the controversy of screwing over a Punter just a few days ago. Some question the judgment of bringing on such a crappy build in the first place - And others just think they did it for a nice boost to their effective level - but either way it was a huge PR blow this early on.
10. Jebs - Brad and his club, (like MPHD) have made very few changes to an already strong roster. The main thing to consider is: How much does Brad care? And will this lack of caring result in a tough season in Alpha? They had a tough out in the 2nd round of the playoffs against HHWC last season, and I believe will round out the group of returners to make the playoffs again in S21, but is it DED or Alive in 21 for these dudes?
Other notables: HOOD, Providence, DADDY, SoCal, Korb and Buda.
Newcomers to lookout for: Canton, Chicago, All the King's Men, QCBC, Mayan, DVFT, and Krungthep.
