Now I've never claimed to be a minister of peace, nor have I always been the most level headed when it comes to controversy, but things have gone too out of control for me not to put my two cents in.

They say when a person acts inappropriately you are left with two choices: be the better man or stoop to the level of your attacker. I have nothing but respect for the people in USA A7, as I've said before, but in my opinion the situation with Silverymoon has destroyed part of our once heralded credibility as a sanctuary for peace and camaraderie. FairForever has let the situation go, as we can all tell by the lack of posts. Maybe someone talked to him about his behavior, we don't know what goes on behind the scenes.

Yes, Silverymoon lost twice. The last thing an honorable person does is kick someone when they are down. It is not up to me to judge whether they deserve it or whether they don't, but it was my understanding that A7 is a community and there is never a better time to repair a relationship between the Elves and the rest of this league than right now. We are presented with a situation that we should be coveting as respectable people. Last season, I felt like regardless of the outcomes we were, in the end, friends. Sort of like in a Rugby game where you beat the heck out of each other then go drink beers together.

So, in my attempt to assist A7 in repairing an image that we allowed to be shattered, lets pick the Elves up and go have beers together. I watched the game film of Silverymoon and Great Plains. They both played a hell of a football game regardless of the outcome. Two solid squads. Good game Silverymoon, good game Great Plains.

Beers, lets go get some.

Fairforever hasn't let it go, he is just to embarrassed to come back out along with his entire team, you almost can't come out with how much crap he has dished out about how he is going to dominate us. Everytime I try to help peace with him he attacks me, I could really care less about his team anymore, they aren't anything special.

Its more taking a look at a forum that used to contain posts in which we would discuss the games, wish each other well and the get ready for the next. Now I see arguments on top of arguments with a side of ridicule. You guys are all my friends, but when the one moderator said that we allowed FairForever to "get to us" easily, he was right. It was just glorified smack talk. It was a lot of smack talk, but it was glorified smack talk.

Relationships aren't repaired over night, but maybe this one still can be fixed.

Gator : Isn't it time we just let it go though? Hasn't the point been proven? FairForever doesn't speak for all of Silverymoon and if he is embarassed then fine... let him be embarassed. If he isn't fine he isn't. How about if we get back to what used to be so great and talk about the games and if forgetting that they are even in the league is what it takes then lets do that. Maybe they'll join in.

Then I hope someone from Silverymoon comes here seeking peace and hopefully even if it isn't FairForever that it will be good enough for everyone.

This isn't the same league that we left, and it isn't just Silverymoon's fault.

Oh hush Priz - it absolutely is the same league you left - we all are very cordial and friendly to the teams that show class, but you can't expect us to not have a little fun with the village idiots for awhile.

If we are throwing out resims, Bort resim 2007 season for the 49ers because we could have turned that 2-0 start into a playoff run. WTB a better offensive line!
