I know this is going out late, but I thought I would put a little something together since I have the time.
GAME 1. Psycho Rome 299.15 (1 Seed) -vs- Illuminati 289.96 (8th Seed) - Rome won 24-0
Offense Rank: Psycho 2nd, Illuminati 8th
Defense Rank: Psycho 1st, Illuminati 6th
I wont get into this one too much because the Illuminati is my team, but I will say this Rome is currently on a 16 game win streak and they look to be the team to beat. A Power ground and pound usually gets the job done for this team and the last time these two teams met the Psycho beat the Illuminati 62-3. BUT and this is a BIG But.....The Illuminati were and have been 4 or 5 levels behind the top teams this season. Will they be able to matchup better and will the difference in this game be the teams builds and game planning instead of SP?

GAME 2. The Celtic Football Club 304.87 (4th Seed) -vs- Breckenridge Buckaroos 295.06 (5th Seed) - Breckenridge won 63-56! Good job and good upset!

This is a tough one for me because we played Breckenridge so early in the season and we didnt game plan for them. Celtic is a solid team. We threw everything we had at them in week 15 and they beat us 42-14. They pulled away at the end. The last time these two met The Celtic beat the Buckaroos 70-14 and moved the ball for over 500 yards while the Celtics stingy defense held the Buckaroos to under 225 yards of total offense.
Prediction: I think this one will end much the same and the Celtic will get the win 76-17. The Buckaroos had a great season, but dont have the fire power to get it done.
GAME 3. Seattle 7-9 playoff bound 312.99 (2nd Seed) -vs- Black Sea School 275.4 (7th Seed) - Seattle took this one easily...146-0

Seattle is a solid team. They finished the season winning 9 of their last 10 and seem to be rolling along. Black Sea School has struggled down the stretch and are looking to keep their current 2 game win streak alive. In the end its going to come down to the defenses of both teams. I have played them both and can say without a doubt that Seattle's defense is stout! We went into OT in one of the best defensive battles I have ever been apart of in GLB.
Prediction: Seattle gets the win and prepares for their 2nd round opponent. Black Sea School stands proud knowing they did their best against a better team. Seattle wins 82-7
GAME 4. Tilburg Power 296.33 (3rd Seed) -vs- SPQR Legionnaires 282.67 (6th Seed) - Tilburg wins 61-7
Offense Rank: Tilburg 3rd, SPQR 7th
Defense Rank: Tilburg 5th, SPQR 3rd
This could end up being the best matchup in todays Western games. Tilburg is a very solid team top to bottom. I dont think they have enough in their pants to win it all, but they are good enough to get to the 2nd round. SPQR did well down the stretch against the easier teams, but struggled against the current playoff teams. These two teams met in week 11 and Tilburg won 35-21. In that game SPQR pounded the ball well, but look for them to come with a more balanced attack in this game.
Prediction: Tilburg wins 38-24. Very close game, but Tilburgs defense is too much and SPQR falls to them once again.
I went 3-1 on my predictions (yes I did pick Psycho. I didnt think we could beat them, just tried to keep it close)
