Not really sure if this is a bug but first time ive seen it so thought id post it up to clarify, basically on every HB Sweep Strong play the SS goes to blitz and then stops before anyone is near him, some of the plays the TE gets to him but he still stops before the TE reaches him, i am wondering why? is it a build thing? the SS's on this team have 68 speed, 52 agility and 50 vision and tactics are set as -95 elusive running style, coverage cushion -95, aggressiveness is 100 passive? the FS's are set the same and built the same and none of the HB Weak Sweeps shows the FS stopping?

Are you sure it's a blitz? It looks like he's either playing a zone or reading the run. Does the FS have more vision?

nope FS has exactly the same build i think minus 1 point in speed and tackling which shouldnt make any diff, the SS is set to blitz not cover man and blitz, just blitz outright and yet he seems to stop 2-3 yards into the blitz :s

He's probably stopping to read where the run is going, the FS doesn't really have to since he's trailing the RB and the QB so he can just keep on running.

100 passive, i was thinking would that change his initial assignment? if he is set to 100 passive aggression that would mean he doesnt blitz often or something so would this prevent a full out blitz from happening?

also if you meant by th FS trailing as in chasing the HB on HB Sweep Strong, i didnt mean that i meant that on a HB Sweep Weak side same situation as the SS would be in on the strong side, the FS just blitzes with no hesitation, but what im trying to work out is why the SS stops the blitz when they are built the same and have the same tactics? if the SS did this on all sweeps pitches i would think like micheal vick said that he is readin the play but he doesnt do it on any other play? only HB Sweep Strong

tun it tick by tick and he stops as soon as the ball is pitched. not entirely sure what that suggests, but it's a start

yeah i noticed this aslo but again if he does this on HB Sweep Strong why not on a pitch?

The first 2 replays are from a different pitch. I scouted your team for the last 3 games and this final game was the only time I found you running this D vs pitches, so I couldn't compile more. The SS starts out doing his job blitzing the QB, he then has to adjust to where the ball is going to make a better line on the HB. With higher spd/agil/vis this adjustment is nearly imperceptible.

I would question tactics and build as the reason for this behavior.
