But my stamina will need to be at 23 anyway before level 8-10, correct? If so, I'm not losing any skill points.

Like I said before, I thought putting all those skill points into stamina was odd as well, but that was the value suggested in the "How to build a player" FAQ for DTs, so I trusted the veterans.

obviously reading is easy at times for you but harder at others go back and reread my last post im tired of saying it - you can max out 2 skills by the time you are level 8-10 thus making that a more important idea

btw - my level 12 DT has 18.83 stamina btw - it needs to be raised - im still seeing 30-40 plays a game and able to get back to 100 energy - after i boost him tomorrow he'll be sitting on a 25-28 stamina and that should be way more than enough for me

Stamina needed is all relative to how many plays you get, the level of RG/C's you face at NT or LG in the DT case.

I've really liked FS. It's a brain twister, because theres so many different things you have to account for. If I could make anything right now, it would have to be a CB. Good ones are needed all over, and I think I could make a pretty nice Intercepter/Kick Returner that isn't a liability in coverage.

Your player doesn't start "playing" till he's level 8+ (i.e when human owners start showing an interest). Until then there is no reason to put points into Stamina. Like Frisky says - put those points into the Primary attributes.

In fact, don't even join the D-leagues at the start - just train on Normal for the first 10 days or so and train up that Stamina - then sign a D-league contract. You will be level 2 with 15+ Stamina (and a slightly bigger contract) - more than enough to get a good workload (even if it did matter).

while appreciate the support not joining a Dleague seems to pique my interest slightly....why give up 10 days (5 games, 2-3 levels) early on for a bit extra training?

i kinda see the reasoning but thats a bit too extreme, and i build for the extreme players lol - i guess it makes sense if i think about it, but again that is another extreme playing tactic haha - i personally just "bank" my points til i have enough to hit the soft cap and daily train the skills until i get the points stored...i feel its a tad worse than your suggestion, but a bit more viable so people are leveling and seeing some progress on their player even though they suck early so hard haha

OR you can sign a level one contract, work on stamina, and then go inactive for 5 days. That will kick you off of your D-League team. Then get back on and resign, for more money.

I would have to say LB. They get a little piece of everything including tackles, INT, FF, sacks, all that good stuff.

That game that simmed early for the BBB#8 league and for some other league, my LB had an INT and ran it back for 87 yards. Unfortunately, since the game simmed early, he took the stats back and let it sim at a normal time and I go no INT .

Right now I just made a DE and hoping to get him to be a pass rush monster.

thats an even less viable option for a good player - people like myself with multiple players or GM status cant afford to just disappear for 5 days haha
