Season 20 WL Races

Passing Yards

1. Alexander Orion (Hali) 4535.5
2. Malik Rose (Blaze) 3862.5
3. Phillip Rivers (Buda) 3654.5

Orion has a 700 yard lead over Malik, Rivers and a couple others are close. Hali has some tough defenses left. Don't think he will get caught though.

Passing Touchdowns

1. Alexander Orion (Hali) 43

Next closest player is 14 away. Orion will win TD's along with yards.

Wide Receivers

Samuel Gorton is running away with all major statistics. 1617.5 Yards, 16 TD's. I don't see anyone catching him. Providence has a gem in Gorton.

Rushing Yards

This race is a closer than the other yardage races.

Bentley from Alpine has been in straight beast mode this year. Him and Benard Mitchell are the only 2 RB in the WL averaging over 100 Yards Rushing Per Game. Bentley has 1222, Mitchell 1051. Bentley also has 18 less carries than Mitchell. Nobody likes Hood, everyone likes Alpine. Usually go for the underdog, but Cavalier is a outstanding citizen of the World League. I am taking Bentley.

Rushing Touchdowns

7 guys all bunched up at the top for this race. Season 17 and Season 18 Rushings TD award winner Touchdown Factory (Gurupies) looks to take his 3rd title down in 4 seasons. He currently leads the WL with 17 of them. He faces the top D in GLB this week though against Machu. Chances are he gets shut out. That leaves the door open for the following backs.

EL Jaco (Nashville) 15
Lawrence Phillips (SBDC)14
Asher Lev 14 (ESL)
Wicket Warrick (Hood) 14
Ghengis X (MPHD) 14

Have we ever had a Fullback in the TD race? Warrick is sure giving it a run. Brody from Alpine is also a FB and he is sitting on 13 touchdowns. I will go with Touchdown Factory to take the title, because I a homer and he is my dot

Some Week 11 NoN-Script Thoughts and Predictions

My Game of the Week and Upset Special

Machu Piccu Hidden Dragons @ Indianapolis Gurupies

Gurupies trying to stay up in the World League for their 8th consecutive season. They odds are against them this year for the first time in a long while. Normally they already have a playoff spot locked up and are fighting for home games. Not so much this year. Machu after the week 1 loss to Hood have been unstoppable. They have the best Defense in the WL bar none. They have 2 shutouts on the season. I didn't look, but I would be willing to bet the rest of the WL doesn't even have 1 combined. The odds are against the Gurupies in this one, but rumor has it a large sum of money has been paid to Taut for the Dragons to throw the game.

Gurupies 21 Dragons 20

We have a lot of big name teams looking at possible demotion this year. The Blaze, Gurupies and Navigators all sit at 5-5. One of them isn't going to make the playoffs. Blaze still have to play the Gurupies and lost to Lincoln. Gurupies still have to play both the Navs and Blaze. Here is my predicted regular season final standings for Zeta

1. Hidden Dragons 14-2
2. Providence Radicals 14-2
3. Moose 12-4
4. ESL 12-4
5. Osaka 11-5
6. Gurupies: 10-6
7. Blaze: 9-7
8. Hali 9-7
9. Buda Pest 9-7
10. Lincoln: 8-8

Yea Yea, like I said I am a homer

Will Buda go from 7-2 to demotion over the course of 7 short weeks?

That would be epic of them

i do believe that QCBC, a few seasons ago, started out 8-0 and demoted.

This is true. The grand MPHD organization is low on funds and we have had to trim our budget in recent seasons by cutting back on scrims. The Guppies have promised a 50 flex point contribution to our team fund if we were to somehow lose this game, allowing us a couple more scrims this season.

I wish all of our opponents were so generous...

Very backloaded schedule, so that is no where near out of the question. We could easily end up 7-9.

We are 10 points from being 10-0, and 15 points from being 4-6, so we may likely not make the playoffs.

Of course, we could probably scrounge up a few hundred flex points to donate to your flex fund for some "favors"
