he's in man coverage and set to blitz from that man coverage ...the LOLB is in man coverage and set to stay in zone from that, so it is understandable that the LOLB behaves in this manner, but I can't accept the SS behaviour for working as intended

OK, with the new information, I'm going to say this is not likely a bug. He's on an intercept path with the HB. It's not a great angle, but that's probably a product of low vision and maybe your relatively passive coverage style. I'll change this and move it back out to bugs main so the other moderators can weigh in.

Not sure this is a build issue. I've seen the FS and SS look like they're playing flat zones instead of being in man coverage. The HB then runs by them and is wide open deep. Here's some examples. Looks like both of these are the same play, an old play updated for S20 to conform to the new rules.

These are different, if the player in question fails his vision check he will progress to the next option. In this case that is zone. Even players with high vision will fail vision checks sometimes. In the OP he would have defaulted to a different man or blitz.

I agree, he saw the TE was blocking and picked out the HB as his man. The angle wasn't great, but that is easily attributed to his low level/stats.

I don't see anything buggy here either.

It looks odd, but this is how low level players act. They act funny at times and take bad routes due to their low attributes. It's very easy to get upset when you see your dot act like he doesn't know where he's at.

But this dot is clearly making an attempt to move towards where he thinks the HB route is heading.

Seen a few threads like this just about every season for the last 4 or so.
