Its that time of the season again folks, you either love my commentary or you hate it. My guess, its the latter of the 2. Ya know its kinda like watching a midget stripper, your not interested in watching but your curious as to what the goods look like. Anywho enough of the non-related babble and on with the
Week 1 - 5 Things I learned
(For those who take GLB so seriously, you should probably stop reading now, exit the thread, and write something with actual meaning)
1. I learned that until playoff time, Texas Terror is just one big AI catastrophe, or until they pickup a defensive cooridinator from gold, which ever comes first. Coincendtly, they happened at the exact same time last season..
2. I learned to never "write off" a team that was never written on. When someone makes a post saying they arent trying because its regular season and the DC replies "Truth"... its becomes a blatent lie. You lost your first game to team that lost 9 regular season games the previous season. If you dont want to be written off...show us something before playoffs, because you barely made it there last season. and can you guess who sent you packing?
3. This league is inflated with CPU / No Build Teams.. making it easy for anyone who gives a half assed effort a legit shot at making the playoffs..So that may render #2 useless (Or atleast second half of it)
4. O'side Peewees, Middleville Thunderbolts, Bien Hoa Bushidos are all in for another solid season. Been in leagues with these teams the past few seasons and they always seem to string together some pretty solid seasons. (Tho woodbury wolves has always had your #'s lol had throw that in there for good measure) After week 1, i see no reason why you guys wont be playoff contenders at season end.
5. While patrolling the boarder of south texas i caught a mexican crossing the border illegally and so i asked my superior what i should do with him. He told me to simply throw him back over the fence and tell him to try again.... Ok i have no clue where this is going, but if your sitting there wondering whos the perverbial mexican, than it probably is you..... TRY AGAIN!
Well that wraps up the five things i learned from week 1, Its been real kids, to all those that read, happy reading...
