I know I'm opening myself up for a slamfest, but I've done everything I can to figure this out. I've been DC'ing for 10+ seasons now and I've never had a problem like this.

Take a look at this play:

The FS and SS are on the MLB's ass. Never EVER have I created a play like this. I've tested the DAI in this scenario (4q, 9:42 left, I formation, 2d and 4.5 to go)

the two plays that fire are both Custom plays and both of them have the SS covering the strong side for outside runs/passes. No chance of another play firing.

I'm at my wits end, I've had problems with my AI since the change.

I've copied/renamed and double checked every play and redid most of my DAI just to be sure and nothing has remedied this crap!

Help!

Do you have it set to Cover Man or Cover Man without move? If they are both just set to Cover Man and they are responsible for HB/FB this is where they will be. Try using the Cover Man without move

I looked at this early on, I'll double check now...but it was my first thought as well. Thanks for the response

I had some issues with old plays where DOTS are apparently slightly out of bounds in the new rules and its snapping the whole set (DB, LB, etc) into odd positions. If you look at the play, it's fine. But when the play is actually called, it's mangled. You have to 'copy' the play readjust to new rules and then switch the call of that play to the new one. Big pain in the ass if you ask me...

Well that should take care of it, there were a couple of plays I missed on man coverage and setting them to Cover Man w/o move.....
