Seeding and byes were done randomly. Each of the teams were assigned a random number using a random number generator and then teams were placed in brackets and given byes based upon those numbers.

WARNING - make sure you leave a scrimmage slot open. If we can not schedule a game in a reasonable amount of time (within 3-4 days of completion of previous game) we will be forced to make your team forfeit.

NOTE - do not schedule games, GLB will schedule them for you.

I've already scheduled the play in games. As soon as those are completed, I'll schedule the first round games. First games will likely be next weekend.

by next weekend you mean the 22? Just want to know because i have some teams that would like to scrim but don't want to make sure i leave an open scrim.

yes, the 22nd. You can safely schedule up to then.

First round is scheduled. 7 teams were forced to forfeit due to not having any scrimmage slots available until day 7+. I hate doing that but in order to complete a 128 team tournament we must be able to schedule games in a timely manner. For those still in the tournament, let this be a warning to you to make sure you always leave one scrimmage slot open if you want to have a chance to move on in the tournament.

Any chance you can list the dates we need to keep open catch? Difficult to keep track of these things

Another element that makes it even harder is that the two teams need to keep the same day open, if you knew the date (or even had dates locked in advance) it would be extremely helpful.

It'll usually be 3-4 days after last game was played. It's best to just leave 1 slot open. As long as a team has 1 slot open, I will not make them forfeit. It's when a team has 3-4 games scheduled and the earliest day I can give them is 6-7 days out that I make them forfeit.

this would be very nice. Next season let us know what the dates of tourney games so we can leave a spot open

We had dates open forever...frankly, I thought this had already been scheduled...WTF?
