Cobra Kai dudes, you need to talk to some of the "Richmond Rebel Yell" scum. They took an advantage as big as the one you have and talked big stuff in their league forum a few seasons ago. They made horrible, crap talking remarks to everyone who would post. They covered all the bases from "we just want to liven things up" all the way to out and out racist/white supremacist stuff - followed by, we were only joking, of course". The trash talk (and higher levels) served them well...right up until the championship game loss...where they were met with 100 posts laughing at them for screwing up a championship they should've won (the sim can be funny like that). To my knowledge, they are still chasing that 1st championship...and people still point and laugh. Humble in victory...gracious in defeat is not a bad way to go.

Richmond Rebel Yell =/= Cobra Kai

^Bottom line. We won GLB in season 16, have had both Pro & WL success. You only make the WL if you are one of the top gameplanners in GLB.

And we invented trash talk on this game, don't compare us to some scrub team that couldn't cut it.

I was merely speaking of experiences that I thought you guys might find insightful.
When you are the frontrunner, the trash talk isn't really necessary and it can put you in a tough position.
If you win....well, you should've.
If you lose (and again, the sim can be funny sometimes)...then your own words come back to haunt you.
If the whole trash talk thing is harmless and just to "liven things up and have some fun"...thats okay too.
Everyone gets weary of continual flame wars though.

Here's an example of the EL and how shady it can be. Our effective level is 730. Easter Island is 756. We won our game 26-24. Again, it was a preseason game with no gameplanning on our end & probably none on their end.

I did not expect us to win that game based solely on the EL's of each team. We have decent builds & have had a pretty good track record of competing (unless we turn over the ball too much).

Food for thought....all hail Cobra Kai. SWEEP THE LEG!!!

I'm pretty sure just training on intense is the absolutely worst thing you can do.

I see at least 4 teams better than the Kai in this league so get that shit talking in early boys.
