honestly thats exactly what i was thinking, but we have to beat the predators first...

i dont see anyone taking you out of the top spot at this point, but there is always hope...

Can't say i disagree with you, hope we cover the spread but the odds certainly aren't in our favor. Should be fun to see if we can at least make it interesting.

i wouldn't mind to see an upset but it won't be easy!

It is very possible though, I have seen many teams go 16-0 and then 1 and done come playoffs either do to underestimating an opponent, just out game planned, bad sim, or just showed everything they had to go 16-0 and had nothing held back for playoffs.

Come playoffs I look at everyone as 0-0

impossible for you to go one and done. you could punt the whole game and win

i know what you mean tho. our first team had a 15-1 some seasons back,
then we actually did lose to the allied assault i think in the first round...
i was so bummed at myself cuz i instantly new we lost cuz i gave everything away
in the regular season game! but the next season they were seeded higher than us,
and we knocked them out. we learned to save a lil something for the play-offs.

heres another example how a seemingly impossible upset can go down:

it was season 17.

the french connection killed us 84-0 in the 15 week of the season:

but 2 weeks later we knock them out of the 1st round quite convincingly:

which goes to show, when all else fails fool someone.
i still feel bad about that one; they probably would have won the title if not for it.
but they were coming of a title season, and took the loss very graciously.
said it was one of the best GPs they ever saw. so i had to go throw out a total stinker the next week...
but thats another story. the happy ending was we made enuf $ winning in round one, we didnt finish the season in the red,
which would have been bad! now that team is sitting pretty financially which bodes well for the future.
