Reposted due to hook thread...but anyways

This got me thinking of teams that go 0-16 in the World League. You basically get to the championship game in Pros and get your long awaited World League invite. You redo your team weakening a few pro teams in your system to compete and make sure you hold onto that World League position this season and the next ones after. You're thinking of Hali, Kai, So Cal, and Blaze. Teams that have held their spots for the most part.

And then you go 0-16.

So the question is whats worse? Showing in World League and going 0-16 or staying in Pros? Is it really still an accomplishment?

whats worse is having a team that wins most games by 100 in pro. Better to lose by 30 in the WL

Hook thread unfortunately Kotoll

BDC doesn't have a system btw. I'm not even sure Hali does the way some of the coalitions do. Blaze/Jam move dots around well.

HHWC has found a way to have a couple of teams stay pretty relevant for a long time. I'm not sure who else would qualify.

We don't. Our first farm team are at about level 60 now, so we will eventually, but haven't up to this point. I recruit an entire team each season.

then you know my pain.

Which actually isn't that bad to be honest. I recruit agents first, dots second. If you do it right a lot of your recruiting should come in house and there are only a few spots to fill.

We don't win though, we just survive typically. To win you need to be elite at as many positions as possible and find a way to use those elite dots at their best. Only a few qualify there, and usually for a shorter time frame.

Well when you survive every season in World League recruiting shouldn't be a problem. Very impressive those streaks.

Sure they did a great job for quite awhile. You think they would be popular as a team if they just had board trolls?

amen. i do the majority of my recruiting in house each season, and then add maybe a half dozen dots from the plft forum.

very popular team, no doubt. They didn't stick around in the WL though. Pretty sure they only spent 3 or 4 seasons here? There was a big gap in the middle.

hali would be better if Wylker allowed Gart to sign my dots.

My fault for trolling CPL for 2 seasons

Lincoln should probably be included in your list...just had the one season where they lost focus on the WL games imo.
